Quote from PaulC2K :Its the opinion of someone who proclaims it as fact and then later proves that he hasnt even bothered to spend 5min reading about what he's preaching about!
How can you make statements saying its not what GT5 needs when you havent got a bloody clue what your talking about because your too ignorant to go read about it, thats not an opinion, that just pulling pre-determined crap out of thin air. Its impossible to have a valued opinion on anything you know nothing about, and your comments proved that.

All your comments go to prove is that you're a pretensious, self centred, arrogant, aggresive prick, and you have the honour of being my 2nd person on ignore

I look forward to never reading your posts again

Quote :Yamauchi then points out that GT5 has a Course Maker, not a course editor. He initially wanted to offer a tool that would allow players to create everything from scratch, but that would require producing a crazy-intensive CG tool that would intimidate players too much.

Interesting to see B-Spec is in GT5, I'd forgotten about that mode!

Quote from PaulC2K :Snip.....

Its called having an opinion you arrogant shite.

I am sure most people are sensible enough to realise that, and can make up their own minds on what THEY think the GT series needs.

People like YOU piss me off, telling people they can't have their own opinion, idiot.

Quote from Vain :Maybe I'm imagining the wrong kind of "track generator" here, but I'd say that an endless amount of possible tracks is rather awesome.
I'm pretty sure that I would still be playing LFS if it had this feature.

Vain

From what I've read, it sounds more awesome than its probably going to be.

Apparently, you select a "region" (from what I read, there is two, "Beligian fens" and "Toscana"?), each of these are quite sparse, and you just create your track on one of these regions.

It sounds fairly uninspiring to me, maybe it will be good, I guess we'll wait and see.

Its diluting the content, personally, I am not happy with the 1000 cars, 800 directly imported from GT4, and only 200 new "premium" cars, personally they could dump the gimmicks and concentrate of more cars with a decent dashboard view.....

No idea why you brought Forza up, I thought this was a GT thread?

Quote from Intrepid :The front right tyre puffs up a ton of smoke for no reason, which is impossible, and why the driver moves forward under braking I do not know. Nice to see for sure, but no doubt just a tad gimmicky.

Spot on, its a gimmick, just like the "track creation", that the GT series DOES NOT NEED.

They would have been better off using the time to create either more premium cars, more tracks, or some other content.

Thought as much, no worries Bob.

Which engine is it based on (if you are allowed to say).

Also, wasn't there another game coming out shortly you worked on?, Ride to hell? IIRC?

Is this based on a new, or an evoloution of, an existing engine?, I assume this will be a micro-transaction based game?, if so, is the content the transaction?, MMO?, browser based?, leagues?, or just casual?.

Does it follow the GT/Forza ethos of race, buy, upgrade?, or is it the LFS/iR type of game, i.e. just race?.

I guess it will all become apparent in the future, just wanted a rough idea what the finished product is going to be like.

Not 100% sure if I'll get this at release, if the reviews are very good, then maybe, but it only takes a matter of weeks these days before console games get heavily discounted.

Quote from Whitmore :I think you might be surprised.

I truely hope so.

This is the first "big" audience release of an F1 game for a while, if they balls it up, it will be a crime.

I saw a video that clearly showed F1 2010 having "flashback", which makes sense considering the engine thats being used

I am not holding out for anything more than an arcadey game, having re-visited GRID recently, maybe I'll be pleasently suprised, but I doubt it.

Quote from speedway :sora > 2200
...both are at the bottom of the shimano range though, so I assume you're on a tight budget. (250-400GBP?)
At that kinda budget I'd suggest looking around for a used bicycle. You should easily get a 2-3year old bike with a 105/Ultegra group set for that kinda money that still runs like its new.

This ^

Although...........bargain ahoy......http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Road ... _Compact_2010/5360045297/

Not sure how tall you are....

As Astro says, the bike is a fairly small part, most bikes of around the £500 price point will all perform well.

In my last 10mile TT, I beat "proper" full on TT bikes dripping in carbon worth more than my car on my entry level racer, and I don't even have aero bars.....yet.

Likewise, on a 77 mile sportive, I came 11th out of 110 people, so the engine (you) has much more to do with it than the machine.

At my last TT, I was talking to a guy, he told me he spent £4K, and got a 30sec improvement on a 10mile TT time, is 30secs worth £4K?

Quote from Ball Bearing Turbo :Awesome reading about some of the intricacies re the new tire model there, very interesting stuff!

Agreed, very interesting, sounds like complex stuff, almost cutting edge?, could it be the most thorough simulation of tyres yet?.

And to those people who seem to like deliberately "teasing the dog", take a long hard look at yourself, this is no way to act, online or off.

Quote from majod :so theres a small chance that we would go together and maybe it will be cheaper for 2 people travell by diesel car than 1 travell by bus

Not only that, but you don't have to mix with the public transport riff-raff

In major cities, it works, and is fairly cheap and punctual, however, outside of that, its terrible.

Public transport is generally expensive, however, if you pre-book your tickets, you can get good discounts, coach or bus would be the cheaper option.

TBH, you could probably hire a car (or even buy a dirt cheap clunker) for the same price as getting the train.

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :Just been playing the demo on the xbox 360, and it's everything I hoped for. The detail is amazing, not just on things like bullet holes and car damage, but stuff like drinking a bottle of cola or having your car washed and refilled at the gas station, or even flushing toilets and turning taps on. The simulation driving is really fun too, it makes driving at high speed quite a challenge, and peeling away from a set of lights leaving a trail of thick tyre smoke behind you is awesome. I was really worried that they would ruin Mafia, and I'm so glad it doesn't seem like they have.

Argeed, enjoyed it, especially the "sim" setting.

Depends on the make of stereo and make of car, on some stereos, you can get a kit that lets you use the steering wheel controls with the new stereo.
