Well this is my first EVA attempt,,,So please don't kill me:scared:

I was just messing around with Blender trying to learn some basics that this wonderful program has to offer,here's two i came up with using Blender & Paint.net

I think you will find that its the "optical encoder" bracket that's on the end of the left motor inside of the housing..

I had this problem myself & tryed recalibrating/reseting / even unpluged it & reinstalled to no avail.....

So i tryed this--->>>

If you dont have any warranty left you can just open the wheel up & tighten up the two screws that hold the bracket onto the motor,pretty straight forward..

P.S.: Yes I know this doesn't apply to everyone, and yes there are very very fast drivers out there who also get bored with LFS, but I would estimate that 90% is due to goldfishlike attention span with NFS tendencies

Just for the record i have close to 30 Pb's within 2sec Wr's using all combo's,BUT im not done yet...not by a long shot.....

Ive been around for more than a year or so & plan to be here for a long time,not just a good time

Smashed a 1:41.??? something with the one i have(trust me it wasnt that quick when i started practice or posted this thread) (tuned it hard Saturday during 49laps)
So lets see if i can get closer to the pointer end of qualifying with that set you posted.

I am askin for any Formula XR (FOX) setups for kyoto National(KY2)....

I have looked around here in car setups/lfs forum....,
(whole 9 pages & no similar threads/setups found)

And before anyone jumps.....I have looked at setup grid & inferno websites but only to find a big lack of sets for this combo

Any setups for this combo would be most appreciated.

Sounds like its shorting out inside the base of the shifter..

Here's picture proof.....

Well i reopened my G25 & had another look.

This time i went straight for the "optical encoder" only to find that its bracket was not screwed down on the motor tight resulting in the encoder being able to move around about 2/3mm in any direction.

Seems to be working fine now,just hoping those motors hold out lol

Included is a couple pics of the encoder/bracket & inside my g25...
For anyone thats interested in using for future reference.

Anyways, I fixed this by placing a new optical encoder onto the end of the FF motor. Also replaced motors with different ones since they squeeked. Thing is now these are starting to squeek! I thought the g25 would last longer than this. Guess just gonna have to wait till it dies a slow painful death then buy a fanatec.


Also this could fix it: If you see where optical encoder is (end of ff motor with black box) remove the plastic black box thing. Now there will be a circuit board (i'm pretty sure you know what im talking about, just explaining for anyones future reference) and a black ring sticking out. I think if you moved the ring away from the board that it'll read more clearly and won't "skip" readings and un calibrate itself.

That optical encoder could well be the trouble you know,oh & those little round black rings are magnets.
