Actually if you associate the file with LFS.exe double clicking it will copy and send it straight to the setups folder. As will right clicking and "saving as"


edit: Right clicking and "saving as" does not work


In case you are wondering how to associate the file..

1. Right click on any .set file.
2. click properties
3. Where it says "Open with" browse to your Lfs.exe and click ok.

Then whenever you download a .set file you can just double click it to send it to the data/setups folder. It Really works out for me with google chrome as everything I download goes to one folder.

It actually is pointless in lfs. And I dont think you can get engine damage by being on the revlimiter in lfs..

Anyway.. Two step and anti-lag(On a launch) are used to optimize traction. In LFS you can change the gear ratios to anything you like.

Sorry but a silly rule. They can use the custom view to avoid this. There is the benefit of custom view again. If you dont allow RHD or LHD switch you shouldnt allow custom view aswell.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to make things fair. The custom view gives a definite advantage.

If you were able to force the car being visible(In the custom view) that would make things fair and LH/RH drivers would be able to drive the same car. They could even drive from the center of the car... Being able to see the wheels is what really bothers me.

I disagree. It's easy enough to get used to driving on either side of the car. If you know most of your team uses RHD then I would practice on that side untill it feels natural. But since most leagues allow custom view It doesn't matter. I just think it's one of the things that would make the racing better.

I've really only driven the solstice In iracing.. And so far It's really terrible. I feel absolutely disconnected from the car. It's been better since I changed the "limit wheel turn at speed" option to 1080* It at least makes the car drivable.. I'm going to try the other beginner car next time I'm on to see how that feels. But I still cant see myself subscribing to iracing again after my month is up. They took a good idea and totally f-ed it up.

There was definitely some great racing tonight. I wish I had a chance to get on yesterday

I'd say the after race party was pretty kickass.
