I can't vote for either of them. It's amazing this is the best both parties could produce.

But I have a feeling whichever is elected will not be president for very long.

How much speed?

auto clutch + a higher gear? That would probably start the tire spinning again.

Quote :I have for sale a MS1 V3.0 PCB with a Goathumper adapter board for an M20 motor. This houses the MS1 ecu inside the stock ecu case.

Here is a thread with more info on the adapter

or
http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51561

It has..

-Built in idle valve drivers
-built in Tach circuit (to use the stock cluster)
-Two extra ignition drivers for wasted spark
-Boost control driver
-Launch control switch
-three relay controls
-External TPS wires (in addition to the stock wires)

All of these options are brought down to a DB15 next to the DB37

And it comes with a IAt and map sensor that are mounted in a plastic case. They connect right to the AFM plug.

$450 shipped in the US

I also have an lc-1 wideband controller For $175 shipped in the US.

I also have a 25" x 12" Intercooler. The core is 3" by 18" with 2.5" Inlets/ outlets.

Price is $60 or best offer plus shipping

Hehe, Pending on the MS1 setup now btw Sucks that it didnt copy the pictures for some reason :dunno:

Who is Victor? Eric?!?! Scawen!?!?!?!

I, Someone who has never before heard of LFS do not know these names!

Why are you trying to convince people to buy LFS? Most forums frown upon spam advertisements. If you are just registering/posting in random forums you should stop.

I can see if you have been a member of the forum long enough though.

Quote from bbman :Quite the opposite... The hybrid is a softer compound, and the lower optimum temperature means it'll be faster/longer at optimum than the normals... So it has MORE grip, not less...

The locked diff is the only reason why you can still powerslide the rear on this rather understeery setup...

Ahh I see. I just assumed that the Hybrid tires would be a lower grip tire as they are Dirt/Road tires.

It doesnt seem to make very much of a difference speed wise though. I'm a second off the pace on the tracks I've been on and that is with very little practice. I'll keep experimenting though.

Thanks for the info

But wouldn't that come with less grip?
XFG setups Tire Q's

I notice that most if not all fast XFG setups use hybrid rear tires. And I can't really figure out why. Do they offer less rolling resistance?

I've been using a setup I've made with normal rear tires with slightly higher pressure. And a stiffer rear ARB. And It is fast although I dont have enough practice in this car to say It's as fast as a Hybrid rear tire setup.

So can anyone inform me as to why you would use hybrid rear tires on an XFG rather than Normal rear tires?

Thanks, Aj

I'll add the setup here once I get onto my other comp.

Quote from ajp71 :Band saws are the most annoying tools ever invented, they're all noisy and slow, the horizontal table hand fed ones are hard to cut things accurately and give a rubbish finish and the blade comes out of the automated/gravity fed one I've had the pleasure of using all the time. They're never a good solution to any problem and if you have access to one I would expect you've probably got a guillotine anyway

I've never actually used a guillotine before. And I'm not sure it could be used to cut sheets efficiently.

But I do have a pretty heavy duty industrial band saw so It's not your average black and decker pos. But I do agree they are noisy.

Which track?

And where in Central jersey are you from?

It's a sheet? what are the dimensions?

If you have access to a band saw I would use that. Provided you feel comfortable using it. And of course if the sheet is not very large.

I Voted right foot brake and I use a DFP. I only use my left foot for braking in the FXO and It's only in certain situations.

I'm surprised how many people actually right foot brake..

Which wheel are you currently using? I've only used a DFP so I can't really compare to other wheels but my FFB settings feel pretty good for me.

If you are still having problems with tires/clutches you are driving wrong.

And It's hard for us to compare to Real F1 tires As not very many of us have driven an F1 car. We can only go by what the drivers say about the single tire manufacturer.

It sounds like you are driving on the lowest temp. tire available. They require a lot of skill to not overheat them as quickly. As for the clutch.. Most people do not have a problem with it.
