At the beginning, the server was good. the connection is good, no lag.
Let's not talk about the technicalities here but rather the management of the server.

I recently went for a spin at the server. There were 25 people online so I expected a slight lag. It wasn't that bad. Among the 25 people, there were a bunch of arrogant, cocky, unexperienced kids ruining the fun. Yes, you know who you are.

In the world of motorsports, a tap is a tap. Sportsmanship or not, just suck it up and drive the car harder through the next corner. Some cocky unexperienced driver decided to cut me off. This then leads him to be unable to recover and losing his pathetic drift points. Then kiddo goes on to e-rage me and so does one admin. (why the effe is he an admin anyways if he can't see things objectively)

This is the drop that made it spill.

First, let me explain to those unexperienced, cocky, stubborn, rude, newcomers to drifting. Judges in drift events around the real world, yes, REAL WORLD, WITH REAL CARS, doesn't have a chart with drift points. So what that you lose your drift points. This LFS lapper adapted to drifting has brought nothing but harm.

Some people favor higher score rather then a proper line, consistency and car control. I see so many people hold their car sideways on the grass, on the side of the track, anything rubbish looking to get the maximum of points. There is no art form in this pathetic sliding activity. Where are all the tandem? What happened to consistency? Nooo, nothing matters, all I want is my high score drift points.

I really don't care if anyone call me a "f***ing stupid noob" or a "crasher". Because to the eye of those who does it right, you guys are the ones that look like clowns. So, keep it up, big guys, at the end, you guys are going to be the ones whinning about the tire physics, and the lack of drift track and drift cars. LFS is more then enough to simulate a car doing round a track sideways, and does it perfectly fine.

I suggest to Shikane Server to remove the LFSLapper once and for all to avoid any further e-drama. There's enough drama on NBS or FOX on TV, not LFS.

Oh, while I'm at it. Please don't appoint silly Joe Doe to be admin. 3-4 admins are more then sufficient, suggested to be from your team would be best. Outsourcing is bad, especially to children, they don't know what they are doing.

In the past, I have dedicated a part of my time trying to help out members to acheive greater standards for their skins. It could have been as simple as a little touch up to a full scale remake ( like Keisu's which btw was a bit of a pain in the ass because it was the first time skinning in 4096 resolution)

For the past few years, I have skinned various cars from the little UF1 to the BF1, tried various techniques, styles. My bests of all times were not made in the past months, but in the year 2006. Which is suprising to some.

note: Very controversial skin when it came out. Along with inc. (Chris Cummins), we were the only ones making bodykits for the cars. It made a lot of noise in the drift community. Although it was highly inspired by inc.'s version, this one was made from scratch. Pioneering a kit from no resourse took a good 30+ hours of searching, nudging, and frustration. Nowadays, copy / paste and you have a bodykit. Don't take things for granted.

Note 2: From then on, Charlie joined me and created the amazing skins we see today. Only used by JDM*F members, design dude's public skins, and obviously, the DrftMstr garage.

I'm not whinning, I am crying out loud to see something different and out of the usual. An all out XRT competition is boring, variety of cars makes it much more interesting.

That's nice. Hope to see some good stuff on the day of the competition. I personally think FF don't have their places here. but that's an opinion.

By the way, care to list the cars each driver is taking too? It is always intresting to see the line up.

The RB4 actually got a diet of a few kgs. But the problem is that the nose is heavier now.

dK XRT, FZ5, RB4, my personal RB4, 1st gen JDM*F XRT, RB4, a FOX skin. Those are some feat that I still can't imagine the countless hours of work.

yours was a pain in a way because I had to change my resources to 2X the resolution I was skinning at.

So who is driving the FXO so that I make sure I do good on that run.

At a competition, the level of play will be quite high. This special driver has the confidence he will do good. And I hope he does to put a special show. But I would like to point out some observations.

In my observations, the FXO has a weird line. At the corner entry the process to break traction is very gradual, requires some good footwork and e-brake. The cornering must be done with exact precision to imitate the line of an FR or 4WD. Being FF, by the time it reaches the end of the corner, some speed will be lost. The FXO better has one very agile front suspension and tire setup to compete.

If ever I face the FXO, I sure know where to attack.
