51bhp? Bwa-hahahahaha!

Feel the power of my 0.6 litre 65bhp behemoth!!!!!

Though that was 21 years ago, plus it's currently running in Windows safe mode, so maybe it's actually about 50bhp right now. And it looks a bit like Noddy's car.

Feels fast enough when its got no brakes anyway, so wish me luck.
Good luck ;p Brake on the gears will save you I guess haha, mine had no brakes for a month before I got it fixed (there were some, but not much). Luckily the car is so light and squary that the wind resistance itself often were enough to brake the car (just had to lift trottle)
Should be able to bring you too Brood, if you can't get your car sorted by then

You can have 75bhp then... per person
Cool, thanks Rob. Though I reckon I should be OK if the repairs go smoothly.
Again, and with great sadness, I'm unable to attend. The racing is always good and the banter/beer flows freely and with good humour. I can only assume that the fact that I'm not making it as a plus side to others who had the misfortune to be sleeping in the same room as myself in the past......apparently I snore loudly.
I ****ing hate this! Now I've paid but can't get a cheap flight anymore. Ryanair offers a good flight to Stansted which will be a bit late (arriving at around 5) but wants me to be back at Stansted on sunday at 6! Air france wants just over 800 quid for a one way flight from Cardiff and around 300 from Bristol.
FFS where should I go? I really really want to attend but can't figure out a lift which won't cost a fortune!

der butz in despair

Edit: just booked a flight from Stuttgart to Bristol and back for 180 funny euros. Man this will be an expensive weekend! I will arrive at 9pm at Bristol airport and I'll have to be back there at around 2 or 3 pm on Sunday, can anyone give me a lift pleeease?
Use private browsing when booking flights, travel companies are notorious for tracking your visit and inflating prices when you come back.
So THAT'S WHY!!!! Thanks for the hint Ms Bexter. I've just checked that and it really seems to be the case. Anyway, 90 Euros for flight and 90 for return are cheaper than driving my car up there, and I have to work on monday and can't afford a 15hour drive either way.

der butz
Der Butz, I think three_jump's flight is early Sunday afternoon, so I can drop you both off - you might have to wait around in the airport for a while though

Not sure about on the way up though, 6pm for three_jump, so quite a bit earlier..
Quote from Andreas B :Butz,

we're landing at Gatwick @ 18.55 Friday and
leaving from Heathrow @ 18.45 Sunday and we have space in our car so far if that helps your planning...

That means we will pass Bristol around nineish pm if needed...
"Welcome to the world of your dreams,
Everything's not quite as it seems."

Shades of the G8 in Eire painting false shop fronts onto closed up buildings.

Anyhow, have a great time all, the rest of the world is eagerly awaiting the lama porn vids.........

Or, at least the photo's.

And reading the on going saga of everyone actually organising getting there is always funny. The 2040 event should be held down under, does that give you long enough to arrange getting yourselves here ?, NZ would be the go as everything in Aus just wants to kill you.

We could even arrange a V8 trackday, etc.
Haha lol, people canot drive karts without crashing, what makes you think V8 is a good idea? Would be fun as fuk tho.

And I promiss to rape bob on webcam for your entertainment.
Quote from Bob Smith :Isn't this the area where Jason lives: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-23028078

Yep, or in the words of one of my favorite Catatonia songs, International Velvet which is an anthem of Welshness that hides several confessions by switching into Welsh,
Quote :Deffrwch Cymru cysglyd gwlad y gan,
Dwfn yw'r gwendid bychan yw y fflam

translated: Wake up Wales, we're a bit shit really.

more literal: Wake up Wales. Deep is the weakness, small is the flame
Are we still 3 people short of a full house (assuming we need 9*2 + 1*3 = 21)?
I don't think we are. The people in confirmed list I expect to come, so we might have around 25.

Also please everyone who hasn't yet paid, could really do with money asap.
Just paid my balance, totally forgot! Roll on next month!

So there will be some / more 3 man teams? Because I definitely wouldn't mind that. Being in a two man teams means 2+ hours of karting and I'm not sure I can pull that off!
I've had 4 burgers today, so deffo wouldn't mind being on the fat mans team!
Quote from peterules :I've had 4 burgers today, so deffo wouldn't mind being on the fat mans team!

To qualify for the fat man's team, you need to consume at least 100 burgers a week. 4 a day will not get you to that level of fatness.

Your old age is finally settling in I see?
Well past it, thanks

Yeah so just before I will ask for volunteers for 3 man teams then give refunds to them
'Ello all. Sorry for the delay. Am I okay to PayPal you 70 quid for a 3-man-team?
