The online racing simulator
So, I had an accident 2 weeks ago. It wasn't my fault, so the insurance covers for the damages. But, there are some issues I'd like to ask you guys about it, I guess some of you had to "fight" with the insurance before.
So, they won't pay for new parts, but they want everything repaired (except for the headlights that have to be bought new). They also want me to pay part of the price for a headlight that has been repaired before. What if I get in a crash again? Will they be like, this has been repaired and you have to pay a part of the price and if yes, is there a way to avoid it?
Second, should insurance pay for a replacement car and for all the expenses of driving my car to the service and going back? (It's 16km of city driving and 16km of taxi fares, which isn't that much money, but still, I wouldn't have to spend that if I didn't have the accident.)
And one more thing: as I'm here only for uni, I will either have to make a double trip or stay here for a week or two longer because the insurance still hasn't delivered the police report to the service. Do they cover any of those expenses?

It looks a bit worse in RL then on the images, you just can't see all the damage here. There's also some damage under the hood (engine and cooling are okay).

Quote from Michel 4AGE :Hey Scrabz, why the waste of time and $$ when you can just throw in the BT20v ? Put some nice 75mm stacks on it and you're good to go.

The conversion itself costs almost as much as the 20v engine. I want a 16v, i like it more. Engine will be decent build though. Cams, pistons etc..
she's on the road

Had to install smaller rims with beefier tires till I get new tires for my 15" rims. Doesn't look so nice anymore.

Not that that thing ever looked nice...
One more after cleaning her up and restoring some bits

Went and picked this beast up a few weeks ago

4 litre v8, insane build quality and stupidly comfortable.

Purchased an LPG kit and then over winter i'll be building a turbo'd and manual converted 1uz to drop into it
Did not see where to post this, not really my car, but for almost 15min it was

For my birthday, my family bought me a driving course with a Ferrari 458 Speciale
OMG ... this car is insane ! So much easy to drive while beeing a 605hp 2wd car . Clearly a masterpiece done by Ferrari ! Being used to my C55, I was not too keen to press the pedal hardly, but I truly think the tires would have accepted it easily (305mm Michelin Pilot Sport Cup at the back, 245mm at the front) pedal to the metal technics

Special note for Scawen and Eric : if you want to add this kind of tracks in LFS + a supercar class (Ferrari, Lambo, GTR), I guess it would be a success (like if they have not enough work on the plan )
Wow that's cool! I hate how the instructor was touching the steering wheel so many times to make useless corrections. Why didn't you slap him in the face?
i would of punched him in the face if he kept grabbing the wheel for me
He warned me directly : "when you pass someone, I take the wheel".
And seeing the prices of the beasts they allow us to drive, I suspect they prefer frustrating you a bit instead of having a pair of cars of their own involved in a crash
(and btw he was very nice)
Yeah, they really want to have a crashed Ferrari
But cool anyway that you'd got to drive one

My square box finally passed inspection. Means now I can do whatever I want to it. Came home and installed my bucket seats right away using AE86 seatframes.

Trying to keep a black/red motive in the car. Steering wheel, shift boot and knob, seats..

Cool! Hopefully it will look as good as your E36, or maybe even better!
Nice mx5
Hey! What wheels are those?
Quote from Scrabby :Hey! What wheels are those?

Rota Kyusha looks similar but assuming there's no "dual-PCD" I assume it's the 3pc wheel Kyusha was copied from.

That's a nice MX5!
Went and picked up an lpg tank this morning, 90L one which slots in the boot quite nicely.

And here are some pictures of the car i took recently

champagne bottle holder

I'd love an LS. Such quiet and comfy cars.
The 406 died so, introducing 'agent orange'

They are a one off batch from a brand called Kyowa, they do look a lot like the Kyusha but only comes in 4x100. +18 offset

These are at least 5 to 6 years old I think.
Done a few bits to my little corsa - Debadged the rear and swapped the rear lights for some smoked sxi ones, tinted the rear fogs, sprayed the chrome grille black and put some new numberplates on it.

Just cleaned and waxed it -

pretty decent reflections for a silver car i think. 2 days and i can finally drive it
Hi

Sunday before last.... Ford Fair 2014.. a great show for blue oval people. A couple of us, along with my ol' man and his camcorder, organised a convoy from the South East & Essex area from the Focus RS Owners Club... I think we managed 35 RSes and a few STs tagged along too.

A great event.. and a great convoy we all had heading from South Mimms to Silverstone.

convoy video for anyone interested... and a still from the gathering before the video drive-by

Cheers..

Ian
