Geezus, that is incredible! I think you could fool quite a few people into believing it's a real photo.

INCREDIBLE brushing, Switcher83
Almost as juicy as that orange FZ50 of yours.
That's quite nice switcher but the car looks like it's floating. You need to fix the shadow under it.

I dont think its a rendering, Switcher has always been cloning stuff from fotos into screenshot... I guess this one took like .... 30 hours

you use brushes, and then use a brush eraser to give it more depth

its similar to how i made this smoke here:
http://i15.photobucket.com/alb ... or41headercomplete2-1.jpg

if you want to do it realisticly, it takes multiple layers above layers with different settings its ... quite daunting depending on how realistic you want to make it

but once you understand how to do it, it really doesn't take to long to make

You are getting better! I like the last one; looks like it was "shot" with a Kodak Brownie camera.
i think thats your problem, IIRC gimp does do layers does it?

I like the one that says "supra sunset" the best. It was hard for me to get it to look like a sunset, without the car looking messed up
