Quote from evilpimp :TBH Massa looks stupid... And I don't like his racing (he's fast but I mean how he overtakes, apart from Canada 2008, that was brilliant.)

Alonso on the other hand is just amazing. I don't care about his temperment and stuff, he's amazing. And plus, it's normal to get mad every now and then :P.

According to some people, not for Hamilton it isnt
Quote from DevilDare :According to some people, not for Hamilton it isnt

well... who cares about him ! hes a liar !

id cheer a dude with latin temperment rather than a brit that lies everynow and then. ( no offence ... but thats how i feel after reading the 3 pages )
He said what he was told to say.. every other driver would have done the same.. It was McLaren's fold, not Hamilton's.. afaik..
I have to agree with Sponge BUT, the first time it was McLaren's fault. He deliberatly stuck to his story even after asking for forgiveness in the press conference. I'm sorry but anyone who says that it was the worst experience of his life and actually believed it would've wanted to end it as quickly as possible and therefore come clean with the FIA and the stewards as well.

Its like your friend tells you to kick a teacher in the face and you do it. Get punished, asked for forgiveness and say that you went through hell and wont do it again and then just go up to the teacher and kick him in the face again..

Oh how I wish Mclaren/Hamilton/The FIA would just let the racing take centre stage instead of the off track bullshit.
Same, same. The stewards are idiots for not checking replays and radio. They could've just given trulli his position and Hamilton back to 4th and the whole things over. But nooooo they had to get Hamilton and Dave to speak and mess everything up :P.

Indeed, it always has to end in a long and drawn out appeal process in a court, it just seems to bog the whole F1 show down in months and months of petty bitching and fighting, between team and team, driver and driver, fanboy and fanboy, all the attention is diverted on what happens off track, I want to follow F1 for the racing, If I want politics I'll watch the news thank you.
Quote from 5haz :... If I want politics I'll watch the news thank you.

sadly, in f1 there is no politics. its dictatorship that we cant change.... a lil bit like cuba... wich is really sad... =(
Quote from el pibe :sadly, in f1 there is no politics. its dictatorship that we cant change.... a lil bit like cuba... wich is really sad... =(

Atleast Castro is not sadomazochist
well... how can a billion year old man be sadomasochist.... wouldnt it take lots of blue pills to be able to do that ???.... unless he watches other ppl.... (if so.. he must have enjoyed the scene in casino royale that bond gets hit in you-know-where...)

wow... that is really off topic

uhh.... i hope that kimi wins... or that vettel takes the pole and crashes both brawns on t1

Review of Chinese Grand Prix 2004-2008

Onboard Lap from 2006

Now, what's going to happen with the diffusers today?

Flick the map over to Sunday u ... scroller at the bottom.

I'm 99.9% sure it won't happen, but if the diffusers are ruled illegal and the teams running them are excluded from the previous races - rather than just having their points taken away - the points will look like this:

1. Alonso 11.5
2. Heidfeld 9
3. Buemi 8
4. Bourdais 8
5. Webber 6
6. Sutil 5
7. Hamilton 3
8. Fisichella 3
9. Massa 2.5
10. Piquet 1
11. Vettel 1
12. Raikonen 0.5

1. Torro Rosso 16
2. Renault 12.5
3. BMW 9
4. Force India 8
5. Red Bull 7
6. McLaren 3
7. Ferrari 3

Of course, if they just lose their points it'll look like this:

1. Heidfeld 4
2. Alonso 4
3. Buemi 2
4. Webber 1.5
5. Hamilton 1
6. Bourdais 1

1. BMW 4
2. Renault 4
3. Torro Rosso 3
4. Red Bull 1.5
5. McLaren 1

Time for the other teams to get busy!
Quote from RossUK :Time for the other teams to get busy!

im pretty sure they already have been and some might have something to pull out of the bag in china already
equaly im quite sure that brawn toyota and williams already have simple diffusor design available that will be thrown into the bin today
Read somewhere Red Bull has already made the diffuser and were waiting for the verdict. Apparently all they need to do now is to put it on.
Fitting it and making it work with the rest of the car are totally different things.

McLaren said they have one ready to fit. But they were lying
Quote from tristancliffe :Fitting it and making it work with the rest of the car are totally different things.

Just needs a hole in it by the looks of things...

RBR/Newey must be absolutley fumin'. They wen to the FIA with a trick diffuser that was rejected and then they built the best non DDD car on the grid but turns out it wasnt enough!
Quote from Bean0 :Just needs a hole in it by the looks of things...

If only the double decker diffuers were as simple as an extra hole on the trailing edge. Instead it'll need a slot in the floor around the reference and step planes, changes to the front wing, under-nose, barge boards, coke bottle, engine cover, rear wing elements, sidepods etc.

And it'll still be slow
Quote from Intrepid :They wen to the FIA with a trick diffuser that was rejected

reference?

Quote from tristancliffe :And it'll still be slow

and still look like some silly green eyed monster lewis drew when he was 22
It's better as a green eyed monster than it is as an F1 car. Maybe they could have it in the London Dungeons or something.
Quote from Shotglass :reference?

Quote :
Marko says Red Bull was angered by the decision to approve the three double-decker diffusers because it had already submitted a similar design for approval and had it rejected.

"What angers us is the fact that we had approached [Charlie] Whiting for a clarification on a diffuser solution like the one in question and we were told it was illegal, therefore we did not pursue it any further though our design team had similar ideas," said Marko.

Weather forecast:

Friday - Cloudy skies (Ok.)
Saturday - Showers (GREAT.)
Sunday - Cloudy with drizzle (Good.)
