Quote from e2mustang :yep nice, here is mine from front view

Quote from andRo. :Anyway, here is the render...so, it was my first time trying metallic paint (I used the tutorial, that JJ72 posted for me few weeks ago), and this is what came out. I like it + there will be more renders coming with this scene. + I also tried the blurry thing.

Wow ...
I've posted anything for a while,
but just wanted to say
I am very impressed.
find that renders very well managed.
it's also fun to see how anyone ever get better.
Thanks, I guess it's good if it's my 5th render only.

Leonardo, be quiet. No, I also thought they are not placed right, but I only noticed it when I rendered it in high-res. I forgot to press UV, so that might be the problem. And I don't know how to fix the thing on FB above the license plate...
that thing looks like a moved vertex,i dont know how blender works but if u can see vertexes, just make sure its not hanging out.
Yes, we can see vertex's, I'll check next time, but I didn't touch it, so I don't know why would it be hanging out. Thanks!
default normal issues, try recreating the vertice manually

What's so special there?
And the second render your front wheel is really weird.
Here is Xfg
Would anyone be willing to tutor me on rendering when I start again (Probably during chirstmas break)?
That's cool. Only that little burnout looks strange.
Quote from Pixelcomet :now animated
(pls don't moan about resolution and qual., I have only one machine)
normal+AO+Spec passes, mental ray

cheers

great animation

I know that much of work is, because I've tried it also.

but respect for making it look good.
and what Bose321 says
try something with smoke on it.
then it does not look so strange.
keep on the good work. i like it
cool vid.
and naw, the launch looking weird is not caused by the lack of smoke.
Instead, the car movement right now looks like it starts on ice, not burnouting due to excess torque, as I imagine you want it to be like. The rear swings too much at first :P

the driver is not used to the power of the car.
he even didn't want to burnout. the car just drifted to the left when he
kicked the pedal. then steering, but too much (noob), so the car slipped shortly to the right side as well. intermediately getting grip, so the tires do sound 2 times (on a wet street he would have made a turn-around with no intend, probably he would have crashed into the wall).

noobs on big cars hehehehe
cheers

Nice vid. Anyway try adding some smoke
I did another one with metallic paint.
Rims by mogster.

High-res
Guys, I'm really crazy today. I want to make wheels. I really love to. If someone have an idea for me to make, I'll share after.

Thanks

High-res

Nice one I really enjoied while viewing.
I think mogster made similar wheels for FXR already, or maybe the same.
Make something different. I would like to see wheels that are pushed inside, because I don't have any, and I want to make this "drifter" render with XRT.

Thanks, leonardo.

Look what andRo. said.

andRo. I agree with you. But, what kind of wheel do you want? Show me one.
Hmm...It's hard to find, but when someone makes them, then I know that I like them.

These are not really pushed inside but...
Maybe these: http://www.rayswheels.co.nz/blow_up_images/CE28N.jpg
http://jdmego.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/68-2-155257.jpg

But I think they've been made already, I just don't have them. Maybe if they are public, could someone give a link for them?
And I've seen these for many renders: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/post-a17009-

I would also love to use them, but couldn't find any link for download.

BTW, by pushed inside wheels, I mean something like this: http://wendycainphotography.co ... eoh/csgarage/_MG_2253.jpg

But I can't find any now.
