WOW. I`m amazed to find out that going forward, is actually going back. I would suggest, from a buisness point of view, to start giving information about what`s to come with S3. This was really unexpected.

He could at least say how much, in % he`s done since 2009. At leas once every 2-3 monts. Something like: "I`ve done about 50% of what needs to be improved for the scirocco update."

It`s almost 2 years late, and people still wait for tha scirocco. I`m wondering if they are still allowed to implemented in the game, my guess is not. I bet it will be at least another year until the next physics update. And im 10000 % sure it will not have the scirocco. ( and yes, your eyes are ok, there are 4 zeroes there)

I`ts been 6 monts since the last serious updata. I`t almost 1 and 1/2 years since they announced the Scirocco. And unless they updated the game in secrecy to s1/s2 users, as fac as i am concerned, it will be at least 6 more monts, until the next update. If anything happens before the 20th October 2010 i will go and buy the game.

There are more people on hamachi than you can imagine.
As far as i am concerned, i won`t go into details. I`ll just say that school is a priority and cost a lot. I study architecture for those who realy mut know. One project, and we have 2 each semester, costs about 3 times as much as the game. So I appologise if I offended you for not buying the game, which these days i don`t get to play that often. In fact the last time i was online was at the beginning of 2007.

Playing on Hamachi with all cars and tracks. That sounds good to me.
And yeah, just remembered, there are mods now, so those can be used online also. So as far as i can see, Hamachi seems like a good alternative if i think about it.

He kiled them by not allowing them on oficial servers. Don`t tell me they didn`t cracked the game and started playing on Hamachi or something similar.

Larger wheels = low profile tires, low profile tires = good steering.
Also, heavy wheels are not always bad, ass they add inertia wich is god for high speed tracks.
I would like anyone to show me a car, factory tuned for more performance, like BMW M, Mercedes AMG or Audi S/RS cars that come stock with small rims.

Personaly i believe that what everybody would like to see is a Nurburgring style track.

rFactor is probably the worst game i ever played. Even Need for Speed is easier and more intresting. Thats all there is to say. Comparing it to LFS is like comparing a rusty tractor to a brand new Ferrari.

Aerodinamics based on a car shape, are very complex. The mathematical formulas, for air flow and presure were aparently discovered in antiquity, but became usable once computers were invented. The folowing image show the air flow and presure calculated using thoso formulas: http://www.fluent.com/about/news/pr/img/pr77_2_lg.jpg and don`t ask me what are they are, because, all i can remember are bits from an old TV show i saw. Anyway, the complexity of those calculations are just impractical to implement in games.

If you want to improve stability just adjust camber/ toe in setings on your car. No real car wheels are 100% straight, because they would make the car wobly and unstable at speed. The same reason is why rear wheels track is different that the front wheels.

the problem is that during the week-end you might get "some" traffic.

I think LFS really needs this road, at least a part of it. Why? Simple. From above it looks like every great corners, from every great race track in the world was neatted (i hope this is the correct spelling) to create this perfect road. (Quoted : Jeremy Clarkson, Top Gear, Seaon 14, Episode 1).

P.S. i`m not saying it should be implemented in the game, but as a future race envoiroment, i sure hope it makes it into the game. The road is faboulous. It totals about 84 km of tarmac from the start of the mountain climb to the descent on the other side. I recomended for your next summer holiday. Just so you know what i`m talking about.

I am really wondering how long are the devs going to keep everybody waiting (bout 5 monts now) It will be probabbly another 5 until there might be a bit of chance to see the Scirocco. Or at leas a new patch with some sensable improvments. If there will ever be such a thing anytime soon.

P.S. I am 90% sure that anything is going to happen in the near future. Sure home i`m wrong though.

I`m 99,9% sure it will never be released. It`s 4 month since it was postponed.
