And Wheel, my current relationship is kinda.. the opposite. Her and I have completely different interests, but we're willing to be open to each others. She enjoys animals, and I'll talk to her about animals. I enjoy computers, and she'll attempt to figure out what I'm talking about. It's good to find someone opposite because you learn, but you also haffto have a certain amount of common ground, be it that you're both willing to compromise to make the other happy, or that you have common interests.

Another good thing to have, is comfort. To have a good relationship, you need to be comfortable with whoever and feel that you can tell them anything, not having to hide anything about your personality. Are you going to be truly "happy" when every time your GF comes over, you haffto clean up, hide your porn mags..? Or are you gonna want to find a girl that is comfortable with you, that the porn mags don't matter, and to a point, that both parties can look at them together?

On a different tangent, I think that marriage is just an excuse to have a huge ****ing party with cake, and then go on a holiday.

Chano - I think the true test of "love" is that.. if you do lose her, if you still love her. If you lose her and then don't love her, than it wasn't really love. Then again, everyones definition of love is different.

In all honesty though, I think that alot of us nerds think too much. I haven't had a girlfriend before. I used to be more nervous around girls last year though. Basically, i went to holidays with a girl i didn't know before, for one week, just for fun. Which could be seen as "cheap", and as something nice guys wouldn't do.

But now guess what...
After those holidays, i went to a friend for dinner. There was also another friend of her invited. And when i told about what i did in my holidays... instead of accusing me, both of them looked at me with big eyes, fascinated, smiling... in other words, they found it really cool, honest (because i wasn't making a secret out of what i did), and refreshing. After that evening, the girl i didn't know before who joined for dinner, asked me to come again soon, and maybe go out together sometime. That's how it goes.

Don't get me wrong tho...

Being open and "Indiana Jones like" (lol) is not to be mistaken with being an **** (as in really being an ****).

By all means, if she likes you, and let's say, already something happend... be nice! Always be gentle, care about her, etc. Because girls like that! And in fact, i am really a nice guy.

Trust me, i'm one of the nicest guys when it comes to that. I really care for somebody i am with, even if it's just for fun. If i don't really like a girl, i don't want anything from her.

The thing is, as i said, by all means be nice... just don't act like an EMO right away. Because she might think you're a pussy.

I do think that I'm a bit different to most guys, in that... I never pressure a girl with anything physical, I'll let them make the first move (Current GF is a perfect example.. she was the one that asked me for sex, rather than me pressuring her into it), and if they make the move, I'll go with it (so long as it also is a good decision emotionally, and not a random act of sex with someone random).

Girls are way more dirty and naughty (in a good way) than many men think.

As an example...
