just strip the BF1 clean off texture, set the whole thing as transparent (1 used 0.1 alpha) and bloom!!!! about 45mins on my laptop lol..........I thought it crashed almost
That's stylish and beautiful :lovies3d:

Blender users are more creative than 3DS/Brazil ones
Hmm, I'm having more problems . This happened before, and when it did, I just restarted Blender and I was good to go. But now it won't go away. I've done a render of the RAC with a stack of tyres and a mirror behind it. There is then two walls to make it look like a showroom. Before I added the walls and mirror, I was getting good renders, that took about 30 mins in HD. But now, it takes 10 seconds in HD, and the quality is gone...The one attached took 4.2 seconds, and the reflection is gone from the floor (It was there before I added the mirror and walls).

If you need a screenshot of specific settings, let me know
I attached a screenshot of the render toolbar too.

The download isn't working here
http://www.Bean0.com/LFS_cars_ready_to_render_BLENDER.rar

Give it 10 minutes from the time of posting for the upload to finish though.
Will keep it there unless bandwidth becomes an issue.

Note: I AM ONLY PROVIDING A MIRROR, ALL CREDIT FOR THE KIT GOES TO BOGEY JAMMER.
I have made my first LFS Render
Now learn how to edit things & change angles...

Thanks for this good starting guide!

EDIT

Ehm, I saved by F3, it is a PNG, but I can't find it anywhere in the map I saved it too...

Where did it go ?
I think the default save location is c:\

You could always do a search for whatever you called it
Hmm strange.
I saved it first in regular Blender map (the standard location). Not a clue of the image.

I saved it again in C:\
No sign of the image.

I make a new map named "Games", save it in there and... here it is:

No idea what happend or why, but ...
Yap thanks man
Thanks for the hosting Bean0, you're a gent.
Anyone could explain to me how to make the front wheels look like they're turning ?

And where I can find Blender objects (such as wheels, rims,...) ?

Thanks

You have to select the whole wheel (tyre, "rims", brake discs, etc..) by right clicking. Then you must select the swivel tool. use the axis' to swivel it around. Then you simply have to place them in the correct position.

You can find wheels here: http://kr-downloads.de/CMS/ind ... &gid=20&Itemid=29

You can import .3ds files in Blender
Thanks for the great scenes and tutorial

I have only one question so far...Why does the crossing from the car body to the shadow looks so bad. I didn't rescale it or so took me 10 minutes to render

I think you should increase the number of samples for the shadows, it's under the setting of the light source with cast the shadows.

(anyone knows what does shadow buffers do?)
Been having a little play with this
