I've got 2 computers.

2333MHz+2333MHz+1600MHz = 6266MHz
ram: 400MHz+800MHz+800MHz = 2000MHz
Temps: 24°C (aquarium temp) - 19°C (rooms)-10C (outside) + 42 (whatever) = 37°C (me idling on the sofa)

greetz

Interesting formula.
LOL
C'mon you mercyless people! Give the guy a break!!
My laptop has 4 cores which means 8Ghz. Therefore my e-penis is huge

So my E8500 @ 4.2GHz is infact 8.4GHz? And therefor my 850MHz Dual-Channel is 1700MHz and multiplied by themselfes to give me 8GB?

I REALLY need to start reading these threads so that i get this info :P

Congrats, you just killed my e-penis
On that basis I think I'm on 8.6 GHz and 18GB RAM... And my computer is way off being 'the best'.
Alienware are making PC's with 72GB of RAM and 24GHz CPU's :o

Ive got (4x4GB) 16GB RAM and 3,2Ghz Intel E8400 normaly 3,0Ghz

so 24Ghz and 72GB RAM are Servers for us not payable xD

NO WAY 18GB because 4,5GB or 6GB or 9GB ram sticks dont exist! :P
EPIC FAIL at you! xD
and you just got 2,15Ghz each core not 8,6Ghz
most ppl thing quadcore = 1core ghz x 4...
thats wrong..
just 1core works and if its near 100% on work seccond starts to working till its near on 100% work then thirdt.. and so on

Triple-channel, 6GB.
Also, since it's DDR RAM doesn't that mean it's 36GB?
People are just being silly anyway, it's all nonsense.
Would a Pentium D be much better than my current Celeron D356 3.32gHz for LFS performance?

I can has 3 x 6GB = 18GB => dual channel = 36GB + heatsink on sticks = 40GB+

My processor is so leet it can't do single thread calculations. It only works at 8.6667GHz using 8 cores (I forget about hyperthreading), and I've hacked/cracked/smacked it so that the power saving mode actually doubles the clockspeed.

It is true. I wrote about it on the internet, so it must be.

No you didn't, there aren't multi-core-optimized CPU's at all.

You havent seen the irony in the thread have you?
Who actually started this whole shit about 10ghz's?
The OP.

I recommand you to update your gpu drivers.. well, if you ever had them.

Normally, you should be able to get some more fps changing the gpu.
What were the pc specs?

3ghz duel core
500mb gfx card

System ram?

I'm guessing it's either cpu speed or the amount of ram in your pc or you need to make sure you have got rid of the old gfx card drivers and have the newest up to date ones.

Something does not sound quite right (duuu)

(may have to edit this)
