If you are British and in your 30s I'd recommend the Shane Meadows film 'This Is England'.

If you're not particularly religious I'd recommend 'Life of Bryan'. I watch it every Easter , it's become tradition and it still makes me laugh.

saw it maybe 5. time again, but it's great epic film!

As for District 9, people are divided on this one. I'd compare it to Cloverfield.
If you liked that movie, you'll like District 9. Personally, i found it to be one of
the best alien movies i've seen. Finally, they've given a new twist on a theme
that's been worn to death. Loved the main caracter, great actor, and for once,
i was actually glad to get a fishtale ending, that means there'll be a sequel (or
more...). It would make a great tv series actually.

I think it's a long shot, but i gotta ask, does ANYONE know the name of the french movie, it's couple of years old, maybe 4 or 5..
It's about a Hypochondriac.. one day he goes to the doctors office, and overhears a dialog beatween doctor and a nurse, they were talking about a plant which is dying, and he thought they were talking about him and thinks he has a tumor or something.. Then he brings his friend to a "last" journey before he "dies".. It's an awesome movie and i just can't remember the name
