Can any uplaod my stickbomb Public skin?

I'm new here. This is the main reason why I wasn't sure whether I deserved to request a skin but the good people of RC convinced me to so here I am. An XRT skin is what I'm after.

Like the thread title says, I want something to reflect my personality. On the outside I'm a serious person. I'm an English teacher. I always wear black as it's my favorite color. On the inside, though, I'm soft, childish even. I like colorful things, as long as the color arrangement is stylish and not random or messy.

So I guess the best way to describe what I'm after is to say that I want something that connects mature elegance with childlike enthusiasm. I definitely want the color black to have a big presence in the skin but I don't want it to be limited to black only.

Here's another few requirements I have:

- I want you to put in your artistic signature/name/username somewhere (unless you don't want to.) You can also put in additional information like your e-mail or website address. I don't mind if you advertise a bit
- No fake stuff. That means no fake lights, air intakes and such.
- Make it high-res. The biggest allowed is 2048x2048 so I'd like that, please.
- No rice. Don't take what people make in recent installments of Need for Speed as an inspiration.
- No sponsor logos and names. I want the skin to have a very clean feel to it. You might put in the LFS and XRT logos as long as you believe it would fit nicely. Not too big, though.
- I'd like you to put in a small Polish flag and my username next to each other in a convenient spot. Again, not too big.


I'm afraid I have nothing to offer you for your effort other than my eternal gratitude. However, should you ever decide to play on the RC Kyoto cruise server, I will give you all my in-game money. If you have a youtube channel I could subscribe to and like all of the videos on, please do give me the link. If you have a website that uses ads that could use a few clicks, please feel free to share that too. You get the idea.

Hey folks, I remember seeing an awesome XRR skin based on the 80s Toyota Celica IMSA GTO. Somehow I never managed to download that beauty and now that I've looked for it I can't seem to find it.

Does anyone still have it and can upload it here? Preferably in 2048px resolution.

I'm not sure who made it but my tummy tells me it was Schuppor so the original upload probably went down with L4P. :l

Why would you think that the skin maker would upload that skin for you?

Hey , I was wondering if someone is interested in making a skin for my team [H.P.D] ,we would like a skin "without hood" if you know what I mean , with some badass headlights and "camo" decals & sponsors. With [H.P.D] name on it, you can also put credits on it, we dont mind. I would do it myself but no LFS credit to upload them online so everyone can see it.

imgur is fine for previews but is a bad choice for skins as it does not keep the original filename. You want everyone who uses the skin to have the same filename really so that people don't need to upload many versions of it to LFSWorld and then download many versions of it in-game.

Is it the attachment that takes up the bandwidth? If so, I'll probably put the skin and a few screenshots on something like imgur and then just use [IMG] tags to put a screenshot/preview on the forum post, along with a link to the imgur page. I'll keep all the skins on my external HDD so that if the page does get taken down, I should still have them to re-upload.

I'm lucky I went with Photobucket in the early days, but one day that will go, too, I'm sure.
I've made over 400 skins and most of them are large files so it's probably a good thing I didn't post them on the forum as attachments

It seems like it isn't worth trying to skin them separately and I think everyone else does it all as one.

Also, as an off topic question, instead of putting my skins in the finished skins post, would it be okay to make a general post in the WIP section to put all my skins in? It just makes more sense to do that to me.

The thing that the pipes are attached to is the muffler, so it's generally ok for that to be the same colour as the pipes. There is certainly a texture overlap between the muffler and the pipes so you can never skin one without affecting the other. There are few places in LFS skinning where this is an issue (the driver's suit being the most extreme example).

Hopefully the images below will help to highlight how this part of the car is mapped.

Well,you should download CMX Viewer to check how the skin looks like (it's freeware,so don't worry about licence),because yours looks like pretty cheap work - just pasted some logos without caring about transitions. As you can see in preview,it does not look like proper paint scheme,but just on different areas pasted drawings. Also mirrored logos seems more like a sign of lazyness than some old trend from figureskaters scene. To avoid logos and paintings being weirdly stretched,you should check 'the stretching of skins' thread,it's really good help. I hope I did not demotivate you too much,with more work and creativity you can make a good name for yourself.

That is one of the weird areas to skin, you cannot get the pipes a different colour from the backbox of the exhaust because there is a sorta overlap in the wireframe.

If the skin is fan-made, and as long as it's not distributed as part of the game, there's no problem and nothing the original owner of the livery can do.

The only thing that would make it a problem would be if someone was to try selling that skin for profit, for example, including it in the game's installation, or starting a e-commerce website that sold custom skins. That's when the lawyers start to turn up...

Usually, just ask a friend with a s1/s2/s3 license or a random person, send them your skin, and they upload it cuz lfs community nice.

You can make any skins you like, the CMX viewer can be used to preview skins for cars not in the demo version.

Uploading and sharing on the forum is not a problem, to upload to LFSWorld however, you would need to buy some skin upload slots.

YES dragons are cool.

The new set of skins for a racing/drifting team LLH I wanted to keep these for myself but hey not my choice int'a I promised so they got.

(On the red skin the whiteness is supposed to be there.. Makes it look like the transfer for decals didn't go too great which is fitting for a garage drift team)

Had nothing to do, so decided to make a skin for one of my favorite cars in LFS
"SHARK Attack"

Me and my friends made a team the other day and was wondering if some extremely kind person would create a skin for us.

Our team name is SFK, which stands for super fluffy kittens, and our main colour is light blue/turqoise.

If this person exists at all and have somehow found this, please reply. We prefer cars such as: the xfg, xfr, xrg, xrt, fbm and the fz5.

We do not expect anyone to do this but if you would, thank you.
