Yes, what roadrunner said (and zippy). Yesterday half the server lost connection too. Dont know what it is, but it started after the new patch.

You will notice, and get surprised, how easily you get bored of other games after you have tried full version of LFS. I have a xbox 360 and a ps3 and im sick of all the games i have for them.. but LFS just never ever gets boring. Seriously the best game i have ever bought

I love the ABS. Im driving with mouse and i allways had the problem with no braking or full braking.. so glad my prayers have been heard

Nope, thats what you wanted me to say, and now you just make me look bad. Without CLC there wouldnt be any TC. Im not interessted in getting rid of either CLC, LTC or WS. Why should i? We wouldnt have a chance in lfs alone. The others i dont care about, but if they annoy others so much then do something about it, instead of these endless complaining threads?

Well, i agree. I understand why some of you doesnt like cruise servers. But CLC. LTC and TC have been around more than most servers in LFS. We bring new people to lfs and making the game more popular. But.. all those never ending newcoming cruise servers. When do they stop. As Ash said in the first post its allways poeople who is either too lazy to make the money them self and doesnt like our so "unreasneble" rules, or its people who are banned from the bigger cruise servers and wanna teach us a "lesson"... with our own layout in a slighty modified way

I would hate if there was a complete stop to cruise servers on lfs, as its where i do my driving. But it would be nice with some kind of limit

But we allready had several lhd servers, and as the majority or the users are from rhd countries, it was a big flop. We would like to do a lhd server, but the times we tried, it failed.

Good day everyone

Welcome to TC's second birthday - 17th of july 2008.

We promised you all a surprise and here it it. Months of work and preparing.
It have cost blood, sweat and tears. But finally we can present our newest server to you.

We hope you will enjoy it.

Track:
The track is South City Long. A nice narrow city street with shops and roadsigns flashing by as you go along.
The track is 4 kilometers long and a lap at speedlimits takes just around 3 minuts.

Map:



Cars:
The cars will be the best the roadcars can give to you. From UF1 to FZ5.
Unfortunately down these narrow streets, something so fast as a XFR will be too dangerous.

Pit:
The pitlane is like on montana one way.
Exit in right side, entry in left side.

Speedlimits and roadnames:
The speedlimits will be from 45mph/70kmh til 75mph/120kmh.
Ofcourse 45mph/70kmh on small city roads and 75mph/120kmh on the highways.
Anywhere inbetween there will be a speedlimit of 55mph/90kmh.

For Sydney we have a new range of roadnames.
Going from pits right way round they are as following:

Highway One - 75mph/120kmh
Foster street - 55mph/90kmh
Medora Bend - 45mph/70kmh
Bridge Freeway - 75mph/120kmh
Acme Street - 55mph/90kmh
Highstreet - 45mph/70kmh
Castle Hill - 55mph/90kmh
Hillcrest Avenue - 45mph/70kmh
Station Boulevard - 45mph/70kmh

Layout:
The layout have been carefully created and designed to look as much as possible like a real city. All junctions are focused on roadsafety and with the goal in mind that it should be brilliant for policechases. The original raceline is gone and we have created a all new drivingline through the city. Which we hope will keep the server and layout exiting and interesting allways to drive on.

Distance reward:

To come with Sydney we have added a distancereward to the insim. This will reward you certain amounts depending on how far you drive. This is what the new tripmeter (!trip) is used for, it displays your distance from pits.

Below are the bonus details for Sydney. Please note the distance only counts from the pitlane, or from connection; if you shift+p the tripmeter resets and you have to start over to gain a distance bonus. (You can perform drive-in pits).

Road Texture:

As our new server Sydney is gonna right hand drive and South City is left hand drive, we needed a new roadtexture with correct chalklines.

So here it is. I strongly advise you to download this roadtexture as it gives the best impression of the layout and server.

I would like to announce that today is [TC] CityDriving 2 year birthtday

Since mid july 2006 we have been running the cruise servers. There have been up's and down's but we made it, and today will be a big day for TC. Not many teams get to celebrate 2 birthdays, and hopefully it wont be the last. We will in the following year add some exciting ideas and we will work constantly on making team and servers even better.

I would like to thank all of you for using our servers. You are the reason why we today can celebrate 2 year of TC servers. I hope you will enjoy all we have for you in the coming year.

Racing? Whats that?

I actually dont really have a racing style. Havnt been racing much since i found TC, so i pretty much just try to keep up without setting my tires on fire when i do go for a race.

I prefer driving aroun having a little fun and the running from the cops from time to time

I dont care that much about the graphics. I would rather have them working on the physics. Its more important to me that the handling feels realistic. So aslong i can see the road infront of me and what car im driving im not bothered at all. I just wanna drive
