Thats not spectacular, looks like the normal behaviour these days:
Read (understanding not necessary) some longer text/thread, stop at line 2 (or word #23), press a button or do some other silly input, just to make a fool of yourself...
- "Race length now laps based" gives a great advantage to GTR´s ... TBO´s need about 10 minutes more to complete the race. Thats fine and a real "challenge" but a bit unfair when TBO´s driving alone on track..should be 30 minutes for all cars!
- vote-restart didn´t work. After 20-30 minutes of serious practicing (quali is disbabled, only god knows why) five racers tried to restart a race... "All restart votes canceled" -> so all reacers left the server.. just great!
Dived into the AIRIO.logfile but saw nothing about anybody lags in there. Normaly the drivers would send to spectate after the 4th so called "lagcount".
But there´s nothing special to see...
From the servers view all was completely normal...
Here´s a new suggestions, don´t know if it possible to code...
I´ve noticed some "grid-cheating" in the last days... Told by some trusty drivers but very hard to get proofed in the logs...
This is how it works:
Do a few laps on TBO (or any faster class) to "earn" the pole. Then, when the grid is sorted out (all cars on track, start lights not on), switch from TBO to STD (or any slower class)...of course you´re still on pole, because that´s the method lfs is doing it for ages (grid fills up from start to end)...
Is it possible to add some cmd to avoid this..? It should not be possible to switch cars when the grid is already sorted out...
Let´s say add some "rejoin-timer" like the 12 seconds in lfs...
Drivers who pit when the grid is sorted out (lights on) should not take part of the race...just my 2 cents
