The also seems to be some sort of kink, when shifting from 5th to 6th, which is causing misshifts. Drives me nuts! :Eyecrazy:
I guess I'll be sending it to Logitech and get it fixed. Not right now, but in a couple of weeks I'd say... still to excited about that thing to send it right back

Yeah, I know that. I was driving the GTI which has only 5 gears so it kept on switching to 5th. When I drive a car with 6 gears it shifts into 6th instead of R...
Alrighty, my G25 arrived today and I'm just coming back from my first 2 hours test run.
The wheel itself is simply amazing. Super smooth FF, nice grip and I immediatly fell in love with the completely linear steering
It's much easier now to make small corrections mid-corner.
I still have to get used to using the clutch+shifter setup. Gotta get my brain's two hemispheres in synch It's going pretty well though, and I feel confidend that I'll be able to break my old BL1/XRT PB soon.
Heel-toeing especially is a challenge. Tried it a couple of times but then gave up because I was afraid of cutting my bare feet on the pedals' sharp edges. The shifter paddles on the wheel aren't sharp at all, though.
There's one bad stiching in the leather where the ring finger rests. Should be ok though.
And and I can't get the shifter into R... it just keeps on putting it in 5th. Any ideas?
I think we should start a 720*/clutch/shifter league. Who's in?
P.S. My wheel makes the same noise both directions. It's not exactly quiet but I can live with it....

Pythagorean theorem:
a² + b² = c²
With an aspect ratio of 5:4 'b' is 1/4 larger than 'a' so:
a² + (1,25a)² = 19"²
From this point on I am just too stupid...

Just a quick thought, maybe the capacity of the fuel tank has changed instead of the amount of fuel that's being consumed? I don't have 0.5P on this machine to check myself...
Wee, awesome. Though I only got to play with <30 fps and mouse, since I am at my parents place for the weekend, I can already tell how greatly the tyre physics have improved. I love how the tyres regain grip

Thanks you devs for all the hard work!People often forget, how insane these F1 cars really are. They are truly amazing driving machines and I am thrilled to have one in LFS.
If F1 races on TV are a bit dull, I'd say that's because the cars often compete in different classes. They rarely are on exactly the same level where "combat" driving skill becomes important. Someone usually just leads the race from some point on (often from the start) and won't be cought ever again simply because his car is the fastest.
In LFS everyone's car will have the same specs, to me the most important ingredient for exciting races!

I've never heard of Blue Tack, I'll see if I can find a german equivalent.
I wasn't aware that your new pots don't have balls (), either. Do you have to do a lot of maintainence with that Blue Tack solution or is a good permanent fix?

I opened my pedals and found out, that this ball was broken off my gas pedal's pot
The pot itself seems to be working fine. Anyone got an idea how to make the pot hold it's position without the ball? (Momo Racing)
