dress the cars up with skins to make them looks slightly different...

i.e XRT to look like 180sx... you son is 8, he'll love it ( if he doesn't already )

basic tricks like that, tweaking the audio ( Shift + A ) will play mind tricks on him too

honestly it doesn't Really affect me all that much its just the others who are tighter then 2 coats of paint and wont replace their gear when they break it by getting too kinky...

well would it be possible to cache or bind items in the scenery as singular objects, preloaded along with the textures, prerendered or the possiblity to remove them ( tree's and such you pay no attention to when driving fast say... on KY1 layout for example ) ideal as this game is surprizingly taxing on a i3 with intel Hd...

I do notice some people with rubbish setups and even worse gearing manage to make fantastic times. Some case identical setups appear to be gripping and accelerating better and faster. Some will be really good drivers who are simply better than me and in a rare case it will be a cheater.

Only way to detect this, on server-side needs to to constant check on if physics-defined in game are not violated. Guess, it takes too much cpu-power unless lfs will start using at least 6 threads on server-side. Otherwise i see no way to check 20+ cars on the server-side for cheating.

well then the detection should be used on splits done by you vs competition on a regular basis with reuglar spot checks to make sure you're not being bumped or similar means of speeding up without haxxxxxxxx

im not new to cruise or the likes, the actual happenings the politics and ethics of the suers admins and noobies alike...

it just hassles me when they think their a justifyable means of entertainment ( bar trolling; compared to racing and drifting... )

sorry for long time without replying eh basically i set the wheel to 720 degree's tweaked the profiler and ingame FFB settings to my liking ( getting them as realisitic as possible... different settings for different tracks/layouts cars and tandems etc etc )

alot of memorizing, configing etc...

then copy exactly what you see in the likes of all the drift bible videos, lfs driftng videos etc... watching others drift for a minute or two can save you time wondering how does someone get that extra bit of control on entry and such...


get as many different sets as you can for the car, some work better then others with you're wheel... ive now 2 wheels ( g27 & dfgt ) i find the DFGT better, but the g27 slightly more realistic at 900... but you dont actually need that high. I know these things im saying are pretty vauge and i do apologize but its a 2 fold issue you have i think 1) alot of it is live and learn tricks that some teahc others you learn 2) luck is everything... nudging settings to the left or right, trail and error... educated guessing, call it what you will but you have to learn somehow.
