The Fiesta beat the Golf in sales numbers last year.

And the most profitable car company is/was Porsche.

Quote from BlueFlame :They'll most probably mistake it for being a piece of GM crap. Well, not mistake..

1. (Medic. P. Noun) - A moderately common psychiatric affliction, symptoms including severe delusions of gradure that the owner of the VAG has a "better" car than everybody else on the planet, in the face of all logic and evidence will not admit to any other car being better looking/built/more reliable or better to drive.

Later symptoms of the disease include blindness normally in instances of being unable to see that:

a) Skódas are built in Microsoft Excel, out of low quality components
b) Volkswagens no longer have a world-leading reputation
c) There is nothing 'novel' about a Seat Leon diesel
d) The epitome of car ownership is not a chipped ex-fleet Audi A3 diesel.

The only option for treatment is a swift trade-in for a new Vauxhall, to "reset" the mind of the sufferer.

Left untreated this can in some cases turn into the more severe BMW-ittis, a near fatal disease whereby the owner of a 4-cylinder petrol E36 begins to be believe they actually own a desirable car.

Quote from Tomba(FIN) :Am I the only one or why that doesn't look like LFS? Dunno if it's because there are no shadows under the objects.. Strange..

There's shadow, but it's a different tarmac texture and no sky.

Quote from Bawbag :He'll probarly will join somehting like that when it's done, he doesn't have his licence atm (He lost it a couple of years ago :shy so the car being finished is his motivation to get a licence and get facking going.

As for the Mazda, white wheels ftw, looks awesome.

He should sign up now, have a nice progress thread on what's going on. Always fun to look back at when it's done

Quote from Bawbag :Not really my car, but i've helped on the project

My mate got this car about 8 months ago, it got a lot of work done to get it through an MOT, my other mate is a painted so he fixed all the crappy bodywork and painted it, used to be such a heap, but it's cool as now, though it's a long way from finished.

Get that guy on FOC (see sig)!!

Problem is you can ignore your mum by doing something else. You can't ignore scrolling like hell because the page is filled with the same pictures.

It's like trying to ignore a gay man with a huge black dildo dancing around you all day.

Quote from BlueFlame :No, to be honest, if you are new to the thread, quoted images can be useful anyway, rather than scrolling a few pages to get to it. I have the images turned off, which I didn't intend to do, it just happened, so i don't know why people whine, when they can turn it off......

Because then you'd have to click to view new images aswell which is retarded.

It's not because of loading issues or whatever, it's just the fact you scroll down a page with 8 same pictures in a row which is annoying.
If nobody posts a new car in between, why do you even have to quote?

Quote from BlueFlame :You can switch pictures to just links, instead of trying to get people to do shit to suit HIM why doesn't he do something about it himself? ffs

It's like being at a green light and not moving, and whining at the guy behind for being behind you.

Some people like to view a website as it should be (not clicking a link every time they want to view an image).

And no, it's not being laizy, it's other people being too laizy to edit their quote.

I don't have a clue what your comparison should mean but it means absolutely nothing and doesn't compare.

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Noooooooooo!!

Dooooooont doooooooo iiiiiiiiit!

No seriously, dont. I fitted some to my Honda, and they suck REAL bad. They dont have contact with all of the screen the entire time when wiping, so you end up with patches of water beads all over your screen. Its not just mine either. They do it to all cars that i have seen them on. Just stick to some good framed ones.

The ones they got at Tesco value?

If you get Valeo or Bosch ones, they're great, fitted standard to a lot of cars these days!

And that Fiesta looks mint, nice example!

Quote from NightShift :Interesting tidbit Unfortunately the Fiesta is 2009 car (or maybe luckily as I would find quite annoying to have the car bugger me with such a show every time I got low on fuel).

Many road cars in LFS are a bit older than that. In that period it was still common not to include things (including lights) that are regarded common as of now - some cheap models didn't even have an e-brake light, and some brands simply insisted on not including a reserve light until much later.

An audio alert would be quite annoying in pickup racing anyway, whenever you load so little fuel that you would start off the race already in reserve.

E.g. the XFG on the classic 5 lapper on BL1, would take 6-7% of its 45L tank, for a grand total of 2.7L.

My current fiesta is a 2005 model, and the base model is from 2003.

Even a 1993 Fiesta has a fuel light. Noise isn't a must, but a light is imo.

Quote from Scrabby :Houthalen, near me. If you are in that area you should be able to spot a very well done S14. Guy works at Zender in Genk (bodyparts for Ford). And the guy from the R33 works for the city as a lawnmower and he is at allot of tuning meetings so you should be able to see him on allot of places

Not seen him on meets yet.

I'm not from around, but went out with a friend there.

I'm from Ham, close to Beringen, not that far off.
