Some naab from one Estonian forum asked me in msn, if I have tried this, dunno it just seemed interesting in every way and I downloaded it and I remember sleeping till 6PM for weeks after that

That is because there are so many of those who have had to miss a race.
Now, the point of the Season and having the standings is to find out the best guy out there. Now do You think You are better than the guy who won 9 pool1 races and missed 1 cause of a sports camp?
And while that You were some mid pool2 guy, but You get away with the Title, hmm, LOL

Everybody loses your 2 worst results as even if one person can compete in every race not all of us can and this just helps the DNF's too.

Disconns and such are actually kinda like Technical failure in RL.
BUT, the problem with the point system right now is, that if You get 0, instead o 120 , then YOU CAN NEVER MAKE THAT UP WITH PURE DRIVING
DNF's should give the worst points of the pool You drove in really, that would be possible to make it back. Only 15 pts loss or smthn
But anyway, the scoring sys seems back ok now, the standings make sense to me

Well, I've been playing this game for a while, hmm actually a year to be full soon , which is in my sig And there was this girl, there are actually lots of girls playing. But this girl, She started playing like after me and now She is way in front of me, her nick is Adorabelle, sounds like the Annabelle of LFS Well, She started to get a long with one guy and they were often chatting over TS and well one day they went to Vegas to meet and a few months ago they bought a house together and are living happily together They even had grandchildren already, but they did move together and now they are one big online gaming family haha

You can actually pass in SOOOOO many places on Green and specially driving cleverly behind someone and waiting for him to do a mistake WHICH does happen a lot, cause those chicanes make even the best to go wrong, specially UNDER PRESSURE , being followed by someone

And if we have 20 000 racers , why dont we have leagues with 1000 sign ups or smthn? now wouldnt that be fun?

We also have only a little over 2200 ppl who have uploaded at least 1 hotlap.

LFS will be around as long as I drive it

FXO is a damn nice car to drive, specially on this track.
And lefty is saying that FXO is one of the closest to real cars in LFS, so go try it again and drive it till You know the trick and start enjoying it.

Go for FXO You newbie, FXO is a good car too anyway !

Well, the thing is, in a Team, You can control the guys who participate, but in the National standings, it's quite stupid, I dont really have a clue who that guy on the last place there is bringing whole nation down, these guys could be as strangers to me than to other nations, why the hell should we share the scores with some completely unknown ppl

Also , one more thing, if next season, We could make up 2 driver Teams for OLFSL like it has always been in Endurance League, OLFSL would be one of the most fun Leagues ever, since the biggest fun is to also chase a good position troughout the season together with someone You know well and share the joy of victory together with him or her

and btw, atm OLFSL is anyway the Best League out there, well, nothing else is really going on, but OLFSL has improved truely well with those last S2 seasons and that is very well shown by the 128 drivers in the 1st GP, I cant remember any other League having that many drivers ever

I think the Nations standings are being calculated in a bit of a wrong way.
Since at the Olympics, You dont look at the results of the worst dude of the Nation to find out the best nation during the Olympics
What I mean is, You shouldnt be counting all of the racers scores from one country into the average, because some nations simply have some random guys bringing -40 or getting disconnected every race
I mean, if 3 guys from one nation pull a 1-2-3 finish for the nation and they are going to be like 5th in the standings, cause some guys from their nation finished 86th or smthn I dont know, but I would call the country who pulled the 1-2-3 finish as the best nation. There are always the very top athletes who score for their country, it's the National Team, other athletes are just there for their fun and experience, to be the national Team some day and score for their nation , so I think that the average score in the nations rank, should be taken by the top3 or top5 guys of this nation. And all of the other guys in that nation arent useless, if the 6th guy finishes 6th, then he is also helping his nation, with making the average scores of other countries lower
That is exactly how the Nations ranks work in LFSW, the scoring and all of that was my idea btw and it works

So would be nice if that was changed.

Here is the replay of Pool1 which had a server crash on the last lap, the replay ends while I'm in the last corner, but I did make it over the finish line before the server threw us all out

The fact that I really DONT like is that the winner of the race has no respect at all in scoring. Same gap with all the others. The Winner of the race should have some bigger difference with 2nd place really.

I think a guy who wins 7 races and Gets wrecked by someone in 8th race and looses the title to someone who is 2nd and 3rd every race is really stupid.

A Race win really shows, who is able to fight for the title, so it should be given a respected margin to others in that race.

The scoring should be something like 50.0; 48,0; 47,0; 46.5 etc.

The hotlapping system is like perfecto, dont come whinging about something that works well.
Preheating the tyres is the only good idea in this thread.

One thing is saying You want to start from pits, the other thing is to actually start from pits and do those 800 hotlaps for Nutter rank ¬_¬

In the last months I havent played LFS much at all really, I've even had some 2 - 3 weeks no driving at all and then I've just driven the OLFSL races and the 30 mins for the hotlap for OLFSL before that

But when I first found LFS, the 0.2 demo, 2 weeks before release of S1, I was playing LFS from bed to bed So LFS was my life

And anyway, it's quite fun to see Your activity in LFS World by months, it's going down for me all the time Maybe it shall get back up soon
