And then a XFG would do circles around you on the track. As far as i know there's only one dragstrip in LFS which is rarely used at that too... And a GTR is a normal car with 4 WD. We want either a 4 WD, a turbo or both at once FZ5. THat means that i has engine in the back, which is quite a difference compared to the R34 actually.
If you want AWD, you have it - the RB4. If you want more power, gee, you also have it - FXR.
True that. But Conedodgers could for an example do a lot to get rid of the AS Nat GTR combo by employing a CTRA system using different tracks being rotated automatically. I so badly want to race others in Fern Bay, South City and stuff, but now the only GTR race is on AS Nat only. Or in some leagues.
It's not just scenery since the lower classes move too and race too. So you don't just go by, you have to wait for a while, of you cause thme to crash, you get penalised. And 6 cars in one class isn't neccesarily better than 3 in each of the two classes - you'll have either a full field of the two or three fastest cars or 2 smaller fields of the two fastest or all three cars on the track. In MoE, there were FZRs and XRRs in GT1 and FXRs and XRRs in GT2. With a completely different speed between the classes (and balanced out to be as equal as possible.
There are a few leagues running multi class, namely MoE and LFS GT and some others too. What do you do with slower cars? You lap them. And watch out for them since they can ruin your race. Or you theirs. Same as in Le Mans and stuff. But it would probably be nice to raise the max number of cars on the road to ~40+ to 50.
God morning. I was up till 2 AM Woke up a good hour ago. Saw the #1 Audi problems, any other difficulties over the night? THe #009 is running very very good.
THat stream is the same as Eurosport one. THe official one i'd say. Too bad you don't understand the commentary. But i watched it when WTCC and WRC were on and i almost died, the guy was THAT boring.
The 'boring' comentetor is quite good actaully, he's an ex racer, don't know much about him sadly, i think he got quite close to F1 (Franci Jerančič for google fans), just hope not to get that ass of miran Ališič. You'll spot him - when someone will be limping back with a flat, he'll be yelling like it's the end of the world. Don't know who the others are.
EDIT: apparently there's Miran Stanovnik helping out at the moment. He's a Dakar racer on a bike.
deggis does the 24ur.com stream work for you? thought it wouldn't so i didn't bother post it. And i have Eurosport, both on the TV and via a private stream (sorry, can't share, due to bandwidth limitations and stuff) on the PC for convinience.
I think the Lola AM is hideous, both the shape and the paintwork. I love the Dome though, another Petrol car that's very fast. If they don't get into any problems (this is basicly their maiden race), they will be fast.
And yeah, Pug for the win IMO, since i think they sorted out the cars and the reliability problems, but #2 Audi will be faster along the line too i think.
I'm also for a new GTR class over them (FZR Turbo being one for example, like the Alzen Porsche), with prototypes over that.
But i'd also change the engines in the current XRR/FXR. These cars are meant for endurance racing and TBH, i can't really see a 2.0 turbo with 500 bhp be reliable for 24 hours of torturing it to the max. So V6 maybe? Or I6, something along those lines.
SO if i put back in my Celly 420, it isn't good enough, since it's single core and doesn't have HT (Core 2 architecture)?? Stupid. They can't even write the system specs correctly :P
Good luck finding a GTR beta tester on a LFS forum.
As for GTR itself, it feels the same driving at 30, 60 or 130 kph trough a corner. Where 135 kph is the max. When you reach it, it just goes, doesn't tell you a thing when it will go. In LFS you can feel that. That's why i hate ISI and love LFS. Haven't tried nKPro, tried rTractor and it felt the same. It is true, that i drive a 55 bhp Punto. But still, when you chuck it in, you can feel the rear (well, more likely it's going to be the front, and then maybe the rear, luckely in a slow speed, wet, old, slick tarmac hairpin, where there's no danger of crashing) slowly go. Get on a bit of dirt (very common on the local road, since they are building a highway just besides it and there are loads of dumpers driving on it, transporting dirt, sand and god knows what else) and it just doesn't steer, when you get back on the 'clean' tarmac, the (truth be told, very small amount of) grip is restored.
Don't really drive the XFG much, prefer the XRG, but what i have driven, it does seem simmilar. Though ofcourse it lacks the butt feel. And it doesn't roll as much (the Punto is like a ship going round corners, just in the wrong way).
The whole 6, either the normal 6, M6 or X6 has been a total psychedelic trip for BMW as they haven't produced a single, at least somewhat normal looking vehicle. THe new 6 series drawings do look nice though, it takes a lot from the CS coupe.
Just as unlikely for either of the two. Dude, cmon, just try to get it, there is no contract with the BMW itself providing the cars. It's just a coincidence that we have 2 beemers (formulas) in. It's just as likely we get a new BMW as is likely, to get another finnish car in. Unless the devs score a real BMW contract.
