Half the teams probably won't even make it to the 4th round let alone a 6th.

I have GRC-style layouts if needed (not on AutoX/carpark).

Hey Joe, your Sebring setup was very close to mine. Simply use it for RAm and change the rear wing to 2 and 6th gear to allow drafting.

Here's a video of my fast lap if it helps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... bso8&feature=youtu.be

You must be mistaken bij .vob mods.

For the LMP that was modeled there was, especially if the car then became damaged. But it could also be that the cars were cornering as fast as the BF1..

When we did GT0 in MoE, just adding 100hp to the GTRs had no effect on how the cars looked on track however.

Sadly I'm not home this weekend.

Grats on the Championship Otto!

Vehicle models can cause lag (especially if it is a quick car). However modifying a car that all can race competitively is quite easy.

I can play just fine with 2560x1600, but to record I had to use toaster quality.

Quote :FOX & NASCAR just released a statement that says they extended their relationship further than previously reported.

Cup now runs through 2024 and they get 3 more events.

NNS is for the first 14 races of the season through 2024.

Trucks are now extended through 2024.

Some multi-media expansion as well, but it doesn't say much on that topic.

------

Some highlights of the email:

Summary of FOX Sports’ Exclusive Rights (2015-2024):

· First 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points races of each season, including the Daytona 500

o Nine on FOX Sports and seven on FOX Sports 1

· First 14 NASCAR Nationwide Series points races of each season

o Fourteen races on FOX Sports 1

· NASCAR Sprint Unlimited, Budweiser Duel and NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race

· All NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races

NASCAR’s media rights package for 2015 and beyond is now complete with FOX Sports holding rights to the first 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, first 14 NASCAR Nationwide Series races and entire NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. NBC, which last broadcast NASCAR events in 2006, will televise the final 20 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, final 19 NASCAR Nationwide Series races and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events beginning in 2015.

Little hard to read, but cleans the air on what races/channels are going on in the future.

This was actually pretty good. Took a bit to get used to the female vocals, but other than that I really liked it.

Thank them for what? Newman would have been ahead after the pit stop even if the 48 crew did a 13 second pit stop.

Edit: Words from Carl after the race:

Quote :CARL EDWARDS, NO. 99 FASTENAL FORD FUSION – “The early part of the race went real well. We had track position. This whole event track position was key. It was very difficult for me to pass people. We lost our track position on the restart and Tony made it four wide. I made the decision to not go down there and wreck everybody and that cost us a lot of track position. We made it back to 13th. I am proud of my guys. They brought a really good race car but we just really struggled on some parts of the track that we don’t normally struggle on.”

WERE YOU WORRIED ABOUT DEBRIS? “Yeah, we had paper on my grille and we couldn’t get that off. Fortunately it didn’t heat up too much so that was good. If I would have had a teammate around, after everything we went through with that before, we would have been fine. It was pretty interesting at the beginning. You were actually driving the race car and dodging the trash out there.” WHAT WAS THE COMPETITION LIKE? “I felt like our competition was really stiff, the guys we were racing against. It was extremely difficult to pass.”

WORSE THAN BEFORE? “Yes, it was really tough. But there were cars that were able to get up front and stay up front. We weren’t able to stay up front so I can’t say that everybody had the same problem but we had a lot of trouble.”

HOW DO YOU FIX IT? WHAT HAS TO HAPPEN? “My opinion is that we saw it Wednesday night. If you are not racing aerodynamic devices and the tire and track can interact so that the car can slide around a little more I think you will see more side by side racing. I have been preaching that a long time. I am not an aerodynamicist, that is just what I see.”

DOES NOT PRACTICING AGAINST ONE ANOTHER IN PRACTICE MATTER? “Here is the thing guys, when you rely on downforce and your car is going 200 mph and everything has to be perfect and there is a car up there in front of you that disrupts that air it just becomes difficult. There were guys back in 2008 where I was the only guy that could pass people. Right now it seems like the 48 is able to make it work. I don’t know that there is a fundamental problem with the car but I would be really curious to see what no front splitter and a really tiny rear spoiler would do. I think it would allow Goodyear to make a tire that is softer so that it would fall off more. I think you would see those great races like we saw at Fontana. That was the track that showed me it isn’t just down force but the way the tire interacts with the race track. That was one of the best races we have ever had.”

Having too much of it would be terrible. Look what happened to 1.5 mile tracks.

Quote from Jertje :Tomato, tomahto. I guess I didn't notice that humidity doesn't have a linear connection to fog, although it is the same slider. My bad then.

There are still weather conditions which have a profound effect on grip and engine performance though. It's a (small) step towards something of dynamic day/night transitions with the resulting weather changes, so all good in my book.

Oh I agree, just pointing out that the fog was nothing more than visual.

The "dynamic" weather that is currently there is quite interesting. I haven't seen the temperature itself change, nor the humidity, but the wind speed and direction changes rapidly. Within 3 seconds I've seen it go from N @ 5kph to SW @ 23kph. I'm assuming it is the preference of who hosts, but it can be quite drastic for the lighter cars (can lose like .3 on straight).
