Has been a problem for a little while. Most recently, today during the LRL stream, I couldn't load all of the skins I needed from those that joined without skins uploaded to the forum or my skins folder in advance. Bit of a shame.

LOGO PACK

If you would like to use the Sim Broadcasts logo on your skin or promotional material, you can download them from our media pack. Please follow the usage guide when placing logos.

DRIVER INTERVIEWS

If you are competing, you are welcome to join our Teamspeak server to participate in mid or post-race interviews.

Once connected, please join the waiting room channel where voice is disabled. This ensures that you are not disturbed by others during your race. You may wish to disable other Teamspeak notifications by deactivating the default Teamspeak sound pack (Settings > Options > Notifications > Sound Pack > Sounds Deactivated) or by setting up a hotkey to mute/unmute your Teamspeak audio.

Please note: Being in the waiting room channel means that you are prepared to be interviewed at any time. You will only be moved into the commentary booth if your speakers and microphone are unmuted.

Once you have Teamspeak installed, you can connect to our server at: ts.simbroadcasts.tv

DISCLAIMERS

Use of our Teamspeak server comes with a couple of disclaimers. Please make sure you are aware of them.
  • Members of the Sim Broadcasts team should not be disturbed at any time on our Teamspeak server so please refrain from messaging or poking them. Doing so will result in your immediate removal from the server.
  • We will try to interview as many drivers as possible post-race and will prioritise those with the best results in each session. We will only interview drivers mid-race if it fits with the race narrative.
  • Please try to act professionally during your interview and avoid any profanities. We reserve the right to deny you future interviews if you violate these terms.
This information is also available on our website: https://ts.simbroadcasts.tv

This is something I would also like to see, especially recently while I've been broadcasting races. Even if a higher rate is still not the default, it would be nice for us to have a choice to turn up the packet rate to more than we can currently.

Quote from Features_Gaming :V0.3 kinda bugged. I can't get it to work correctly and when I finally get on a track where I can activate the TV Director mode, the lap counter is correct but as the cars go across the line, the GUI along the bottom flashes up for about 0.2 seconds and I cannot read it at all with that length of time.
Also the camera placements are terrible, all I see when in the reply mode is trees and grand stands - I WANNA SEE THE ACTION.
If this could be fixed that would be awesome!

The documentation contains instructions on how to adjust every camera, or add your own. If you need help, drop me a message on Discord.

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey, we are very appreciative of the time and effort that has been put into submissions. A full summary will be posted shortly once the data has been crunched.

We hope that the results of the survey will be taken on board by the community, developers, and by series organisers to influence the sorts of casual and competitive racing we see in future.

The winner of our prize draw has been chosen at random, congratulations to Ngottini who has won a £12 S2 -> S3 LFS voucher.

Again, thank you everyone! Thumbs up

The races we used to have... Some of the best. Good to see your name around here again, Nilex! Thumbs up

The new tracks have far higher model detail, therefore the Quest is struggling to render those tracks. ASW will be kicking in when your frames drop by half anyway, this has nothing to do with LFS inherently.

To be honest, it's a testament to LFS that it runs that well on the Quest at all to be frank.

Quote from Botswanan Salama :I think at least round 2 is partly at the same time as F1, which most sim racers follow Frown Also, round 5 is scheduled for Wednesday? Uhmm

Should be the 29th, I'll poke Deko.

As for the clashes with F1, yes, this is a shame, but in order not to clash with V8RL, and still get racing action on Sundays which was required for the organisers in this case, we decided to bite the bullet here. We hope it doesn't affect signups/attendance too much.

Quote from Excellent15 :mouse+pedals are superior. would use it irl no doubt. Is it faster than wheel? Yes, but no. I do use it, and i do get pretty damn competitive on it. It all comes down to muscle memory, grind, and how good you can adjust setups/predict car movement.

Do you use mouse and pedals regularly? Damn.

Quote from joaopaulopt :Just one thing I didn't realize, is providing support to events leagues paid for free?

It is possible that we can do some work for free, however, due to the nature of the service we are providing, we do normally charge for it. We discuss the needs of a project with each client and then create a bespoke contract for them. We are flexible and do not want money to be an obstacle for series organisers. What we ask is that anyone wishing to have their event broadcasted simply get in touch, tell us what they need and we will do our best to accommodate.
