Judging by all of his posts over on the [TC] forum, he's delighted with it.
When the T300 Alcantara edition came out, myself and a few others bought it. One person complained of a dodgey force-feedback motor immediately, got a replacement after a few weeks later and has had no problems since. I really, really like the T300 Alcantara, I wrote a short review/advice post here.
I have had no issues with mine and can answer any questions you have about the T300 servo base and T300 Alcantara bundle.
There were definitely ways in which the organisation could be improved as we discovered in qualifying but I think once you've organised a few more of these you will work this stuff out and the quality of the events will improve. I enjoyed the race so good job.
This isn't the official CityLiga race, it's a sprint series that runs alongside the main league which attracts people who are signed up to CityLiga as well as people who just turn up on the day.
If we make any changes to our statistics API, I'll make sure I send you some pull requests/issues on the repo to keep it up to date. Glad to see you open sourced it.
Great idea Vitaly. I had this conversation with a few others not so long ago. The suggestions area needs to be processed into a list of things the devs may actually consider at some point and things they won't. Then at least everyone knows where they stand and we can hopefully start seeing fewer duplicate suggestions.
Better durability isn't the largest issue here, it's the lack of compounds. We need more tyre compounds for the GTRs and single seaters, R2.5s for example. This would make a huge difference and would open up really interesting strategy options for longer races.
I completely agree with what you said about aero effects. They're too over exaggerated at the moment.
I would have bought them at the original price, the only thing that put me off was the shipping cost. Even to the UK it's €14.65. The sale plus the limited availability makes the shipping cost bearable.
When I used to run LFS on my old laptop, it sometimes went into 'balanced' or 'power save' mode which might be what's happening to you as others have alluded to above.
