Not without its faults, but I've been having a blast with it since release day. Its great fun with 4 people in the living room, tearing through levels and smacking each other.
I use and love SmartFTP, but as a free alternative I use coreftp. I havent had any troubles with it. Ive been meaning to give Filezilla a go, it seems to have positive reviews for the most part.
I've had way too many cars.
I'm not rich, not even close, but I tend to buy and get bored of or get totaled by an old lady running lights. which has happened twice.
72 Chevy Nova, SS Clone with a 388 stroker, which sounds expensive, but aside from the motor, it was a monster roach.
83 Monte Carlo LS
79 Pontiac Grand Prix, with an Olds 454 (same as nova, it was POS)
85 Buick Regal
89 Nissan Maxima
68 Cadillac Fleetwood (Kick myself for selling it every day since I did)
91 Toyota Camry
86 Chevy Short bed
91 GMC 2500
91 Ford Mustang 5.0 (I crashed it in to an underpass in the rain 5 minutes after registering it. I'm still not sure what happened, I didn't even think I was driving like an idiot.)
01 Ford Focus (Old Lady ran a stop sign and damn near torn the back of the car off)
I took some pictures at the fair sunday, not great, but for me they capture the fun the wife and I had.
After my trip to Chicago for a tattoo I'm finally going to save some money for a new camera. A several year old 3.2mp just doesn't cut it for me anymore heh.
I don't really use Pidgin for talking to anyone at all, most of my friends are like me, just status messages. It makes it easy to know what someone is doing, home work etc, and dont have to waste time texting or calling.
I use skype mobile for yelling at people at work, e.g. "Why the $%&^ is that ^&%^$#@%& car not &^%#% here at this *&%$hole yet?"
IRC is just for random chats with people I've met over the years on the internet from game related forums and such. Not much use nowadays with two jobs and the wife.
I think I'm going to take a walk to the former Womens College/Liberal Arts college/vacant buildings/now a bible college (ugh) to snap some pictures and try this out.
EDIT: Turns out the Head of Security for the Zion Bible College doesn't like people taking pictures of buildings. Especially when you sarcastically remark that your reason for taking the pictures is to plan out a terrorist plot against Jebus.
I took a bunch of pictures the last day of the Summer Nationals. They all have a light unsharpen mask to cut down on the crummyness of an 8 year old camera.
I took a bunch with a warming filter in B&W and all but 2 looked awful. I was let down by that, but I got a bunch of shots I liked.
I'm still itiching for a new camera so badly. Being broke is rather inconvenient, ha. I tried to get out on friday, which didn't go so well. By the time I got to where I was going it was brutally humid, and my dumbass didn't bring any water. Needless to say, I didn't take many shots.
It was sort of reliving my youth, I used to live right by here when I was kid and would always be there. I thought it'd be fun to go back and take some pictures and see how things have changed.
I don't think this one is good, but I swear I see a face in that rock. Thats why I took it, and almost fell in the water stand funny on some slippery rocks to do it.
