Quote from JTbo :Back at hectic south, everything is wet and cold, still nice pics at foggy night are possible.

I think it is good pic from Volvo?

I havent had time to take any pictures myself, so to fill my need I edited your picture a bit.

And reminded me I need a new camera bad, and an HDD enclosure so I can show off more of my pictures.

EDIT: Found a good one of a couple friends while looking for some birthday pictures for someone.

I'm not a big fan of taking pictuires of people, but I love this one. I think it was with my wifes powershot sd400

I've been selling nitrogen to people for a few years.

That article is retarded.

It does work, but polluting less, I doubt.

The molecules are bigger, so it does find its way out of the tire slower. Thats not the main benefit.

Its the lack of moisture. If filtered properly, there should be no water to condense and it doesnt expand. It helps with fuel economy a little bit, 1-3% most of the time. Mostly what it is doing in passenger car tires is keeping away dry rot, which is from moisture, and the more consistant pressure (if set at what the manufacturer calls for on stock sizes) helps the tires wear more evenly. That is also assuming you aren't dumb enough to never check your tire pressure, and never rotate your tires.

I do this for a living, and if you don't I wouldn't recommend doing it.

It depends on if the tire has a tube or is tubeless, radial or bias ply, split rim or not.

Though the basic steps are simple, if you have the tools.

Release air, break bead, pry off tire with spoons/bars, lube rim/tire put the tire on with spoons/bars.

Don't do a bus tire though, no safety cage + no experience + high pressure = dead

I work at a small exotic car dealer (Exotic car club of america) part time, since around here not many people have the cars we deal with. Though when I do get work it great, there nothing like test driving a Ferrari. My main source of income comes from Tire Warehouse where I am an assistant manager. I also dba Merrimac Valley pc, I do some builds and repairs and such on the side, s well as maintain a couple of local business networks.Along with that I'm married so I am a fairly busy guy.

Dad got me some speakers for my winter beater, which were badly needed, I was going nuts driving to work with no music.

My mom got me scrabble, and a gift card to staples, and wal-mart. She got the wife a gift card to kohls and walmart, and some new sheets and such.

I really appreciate what my parents get me every year. Its always something I need but never have time to do, they are great.

My wife got me some new shoes, a movie I bought her, a movie she knows I don't like, so she could watch it, a bunch of booze and bacon flavored toothpicks and mints, and some bacon bandages, and some other bacon related items.

I got her some photopaper and a photoprinter, a new mp3 player, a hello kitty alarm clock, a couple books, a pink pats jersey and a diamond necklace shaped like a star.

My mother in law got me a sweet new set of grill shit, some socks, some hot sauce, a new computer chair and a shirt from a pub in Ireland, that was like the one that I bought while I was there, which I managed to lose the last time I was in florida visiting her.

So its been pretty sweet so far.

In a few minutes its off to Moms to give my sister and her and my grandparents their presents, and to eat. Then to see my Dads side of the family and get drunk.

I dont really care if I get presents, but the one thing I wanted, I didnt get. Mostly because my wife knows that if I'm looking for a camera, she wont buy it unless I know exactly which one it is, otherwise the hassle of returns would ensue.

Those look pretty damn good. Colors are nice and vivid, and are nice and sharp looking.

After doing some research I am kind of torn though. At iso400 it seems have the same problem as my camera. I also can seem to find any info on lens adaptors. I also prefer the viewfinder to the lcd, and if its anything like mine, its awful.

On the other hand, it seems to be pretty damn amazing for the price, which i in my range right now.

I suppose once all this christmas wackyness slows at some stores I'll I have to take a look see, because I'm already leaning towards it for my next electronic purchase.

Quote from mrodgers :Pics look great, IMO.

(here comes the relevance to the quoted post) First, I'm not in the financial market for DSLR, or the choice would probably be much easier... As I roamed around and looked at display cameras after narrowing it down to several with dpreview.com and steves-digicam.com, I moved to the end where the "normal sized" cameras were (only 3 out of the ~25 on display). I picked up the Fuji S700 (S5700 outside the US) and the camera melted into my hand. Went home and looked it up online and it looked favorable for the price (~$200).

So, now I sit with the Fuji S5700 purchased last night (it is actually the S5700, which everything I've seen on the net states that the S700 is US and S5700 is in Europe). Love the random test pics I was shooting last night. It has full manual control over everything (P, S, A, M, and several custom preset modes). Last day of work today until after the new year, so I have plenty of time the next 2 weeks to play with it. I'm hoping to have at least some knowledge of using the manual settings before Christmas morning when the kids wake up to get some good pics.

Thats actually one I was looking at. For the price it seems fantastic, and I cant wait to see a few pictures to use for comparison. And since the dimensions are about the same, the right angle bracket, flash and bag should continue to work wonderfully. I'm curious though, what did it come with for lens adaptors?

I'd kill for a new camera.

I've been using a Fuji s5000 for ages, its ok, but it has its issues. Mostly with every picture being grainy, no matter what you do. It was great when I first got it, (5 or 6 or 7 years ago?), but its surely showing its age when my wifes el cheapo camera looks just as good. (Well, in full auto anyway)

Heres a few random pictures I have kicking around on this computer.

Phillies Game Summer 05

Walnut cemetery 2004

Linwood cemetery 2005

I'm a creep

It seems I either deleted thousands of pictures or I moved them somewhere. Looks like theres a two year gap missing ha, Sucks to catch that now.

My first attempt at an open wheel skin in LFS.

It was a quick one, I saw one of these in a commercial on tv, and decided to do something simple for a first try.

This thread is absurd.

Regardless afaik, NASCAR stopped bringing rain tires to the road courses had to do with a problem with the windows fogging, and due to the safety regulations they have and adding a properly functioning a/c or a defogger would cause a bunch of other problems, i.e. lack of an open window and a window net and so forth. So I'd see that as a factor. Pllus it is a spectator sport. they say it themselves, so if no can see, what would be the point? But I'm going to try and do some more research on their reasons why.
