They are just telling you what they have told the other million + 1 people that have asked the same thing.
Dont take it personally, but this question gets asked a lot, people ARE fed up of answering it. Plus its usually a good idea to search a forum before you make a thread, just incase your problem/request has been posted before..

How do you work this one out? Fonny had Released something actually PLAYABLE before, and not just rumors. LFS tweak is not fiction. It will be released, when fonny thinks its ready to be released.
Hmm, im starting to sound like the "LFS S2 will be released, when its ready" people.
Maybe fonny will release an alpha version if we nag him enough.
If it is around the 50k reigon, then that'll be about £120,000 they have made. If they are all S2 licenses anyway..
It might seem a lot at first, but you have to remember that the money has to be cut three ways, and then theres living expenses and other stuff like this to take out of that.
(edit) Also dont forget that they have been working only on LFS for the past three years, with no other money coming in from other sources.
I dont think they are rich one bit. Scawens haircut just goes to prove this. ;P
Would it be possible to get a head on render of the light, then cut the picture of the light out and add it onto the fxo DDS? Its gotta be better then the low res texures currently used, right?
Convert LFS tracks to other games. Like putting south city into Rfactor/Gtr ect.
As mentioned though, eric has no problems with someone converting blackwood to other games. Fonnybone did a netkar conversion of blackwood a while ago, iirc.
Smx to 3ds/3d max is no problem, its the converting back into lfs which the devs really do not want at this point in time. Nothing stopping you from doing it for your personal pleasure though.
Releasing a program that imports cars/tracks into lfs, wouldnt be allowed here. (Feel free to pm me a copy, once you're done though. ;P )
I would like to see an smx converter, but only if the uv/texture coords are already in there, otherwise there isnt much point really, too much work.
