LFS IS dead if you want really close competitive pickup racing with big grids . Why are the people who run these STUPID multiclass servers under the impression that they're good?

They are just the ultimate recipie for carnage

And the server admins insulting you is hardly encouraging *cough* cargame.

Stay tuned for the opening of the New NDR public server in ~3-4 weeks time, where we will have single class racing without stupid points restriction and levels and licenses. And in addition to that, there will be admins on server kicking out the noobs and wally brains.

Would anyone have any objections if I infact closed the competition a day earlier (Thursday 3rd June @ 22:00 GMT (tommorrow)) and started the voting then, since I'm gonna be away from Friday midday until Sunday midday?

Don't assume that Eric is doing bugger all just because things haven't been released.

A lot of people on this forum seem to think that no releases = no work, but this isn't neccessarily true. Some things take a long time to fully complete. I don't know, but if eric is working on some big graphical / content project, he won't want to release it half done.

In my opinion, Patch Y marked the point of a new standard of graphical attention to detail in LFS. Firstly we had the South City and Blackwood updates, which make Patch X's scenery look like an absolute bodge job.

Then there were the Patch Z interiors and the Scirocco, both of which are MILES ahead of the low poly models and low resolution textures of previous releases. The 3D modelled air conditioning controls, switches and buttons show a totally new attitude in contrast to the 'slap a texture on a vaguely shaped surface' of before.

That steering wheel could do with a clean up

You can quite easily do 90 metres (equivalent to about 20 car lengths) with a ramp on BL1r. So with some setup tweaking you could probably reach a similar distance to the 26 car distance you have done.

I hate how there is such a vast difference between exam timings... I finished Biology the other day with 40 minutes to spare, and then with English I was writing as fast as my hand would move and wrote until they said 'stop writing'. I got a blister ffs !

Yeah.. all the same. I'm a bit annoyed with the poems they told you to compare in the question, because they were probably the ones I was weaker on. I did the 2 + 2 comparison, because I find it physically impossible to simulataneously compare 4 poems

I did Catcher in the Rye + Poems. I think I owned the Catcher in the Rye essay, but my poems stuff was a bit mediocre.

It went pretty well except when I tripped over someone's foot leaving the exam room, which caused me to trip over a chair and kick it half way across the room

So I've had Spanish Speaking + Listening and Biology so far, all of which have gone pretty well.

Just got back from English Literature - Went ok considering I hate english and am not amazing at it.

On the upside though, the next two weeks of my life consist of doss exams (Spanish Writing, Biology/Chem Practical and Maths) and half term

It'll all be over on the 24th of June, on which day I will conduct a ceremonious burning of the books for all the subjects I'm not continuing. All my english books will be soaked in flammable liquids and will have their own seperate bonfire for that extra special effect.
