i played on a cruise server for about 5 seconds then hated it, then i went on one that had built thier own set of roads and junctions on autocross, and hated that too because it was done so badly,

but the other night i was bored & so made this layout. it's not based on any real places i just improvised, but i ran out of pieces so it ends abruptly, but i think it's fantastic. Some one host it so i can use it with others doing police chases or something it would be fun

follow the road markings, it's a Uk city so drive on the left

im leaving it on, since it only pops up when i try to install something, or open a downloaded file over 1GB.

I think it's quite a good idea of microsofts, since if the popup ever came up when i didnt do anything to 'provoke' it then i would know that someone was trying to control my pc via the Internet. (happened to my mate after about 6 hours of leaving an old PC on with no security software connected to internet (as a test) )

im trying to upgrade to patch Y on my new laptop, and i cant do it. i'm not a beginner to lfs im posting here because i thought that any other beginners on Vista may get this problem too.

When i download i select a mirror, then it goes 0 to 100% twice, then displays:

DOWNLOAD: could not save file

Which is irritating me alot since i cant play online on my laptop...

any solutions? ive looked around on the forums a little but really want to get online

i copied my lfs folder from my pc when i first got the laptop, now im downloading it direct from the lfs site and will install from there to see if this version is patch Y

yes squid i did use some repetetive clips but i was pushed for time, family outing and i wanted to get the vid online asap.. i wont rush again in the future, i thought no-one would notice

thanks for the good feedback. i wanted the vid to fill the length of the music, so yeah i guess it did get a little repetitive near the end. I had an idea that i would include a crash somewhere in the movie where all would go black and white, and i think this turned out ok but way to much slow motion.. (Woah, yr 12 has made me write an Evaluation for everything!)

basically try and stay on the racing line in the car i used in the video. very, very hard to get a good lap, but put the AI on (pro) to see the proffesionals

There is one overtaking sector, i wouldnt risk overtaking anywhere else try it with AI, be careful if your pc cant handle objects EVERYWHERE

feel free to host this online or wateva i would love to race with others on it, but dont have the knowledge to host.

if anyone wants to see how hard that is - racing within the racing line completley with no slips or major fatality will occur - here is the layout for you to try.

it will be easiest with the car i used since i built that railings around the racing line for that car

(pressing *4* shows racing lines, and they differ for cars)
