Firstly, I like the old-style interiors. Secondly, maybe when the devs sort stuff out then maybe we could get newer cars.
Jeff Burton #31 NASCAR font

Hey everyone,

I did a few searches on good ol' Google and I found the #24, #48 and #20 fonts, and I found a font that looks good enough to be the #3 of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., the #8 of Dale Jr's pre-2007 car and the #29 of Kevin Harvick.

The font I use is called MicrogammaDBold, but the 1 in that font doesn't look like the 31. The 3 is fine but the 1 looks all wierd.

Can someone supply me with an accurate font set please?

Quote from Glenn67 :S's chicanes are much tighter imo too.

Watched bits an pieces of Bathurst 1000 today, they had alot of problems with tyres delaminating which was put down to a large degree to curb hopping - one curb in particular.

LFS needs tyre damage in conjunctinon with tyre wear to make longer races more interesting.

Also you could noticably see that qualify setups had substantialy more camber then race sets. This again would be to reduce tyre damage and wear. The diference in qualify times to race times was 3 sec a lap which shows how much more conservative the race sets are over qualify sets. I don't believe wear alone is enough to simulate real race conditions irl as tyres get overheated they are much more prone to suffering damage.

And after 100+ laps the amount of marbles and rubish off the racing line was extreme.

Then there is damage...

Oh well I dream of the day these things might be simulated in LFS

The cars were running about 6-8 degrees of negative camber on the front and 2-3 of negative at the rear to be exact. Glenn, what you dream of is what I dream of too. The mirror's casing cracking then the whole thing falling off, paint and bodykit scrapage, tyre marks on the body, exploding tyres ripping holes in the bodykit, etc... and why don't we add the track too for more fun!

Well done to Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup. It was an awesome drive by those two for three years running. They had a good race off pit road (pitlane). Towards the end, the #6 Castrol Ford driven by Mark Winterbottom and Steven Richards was moving around the place quite a lot and lost 2 positions.

@V3NOMOUS: I'm not really a Holden or Ford man. I generally like everyone except TKR, the team owner is a disgrace to the sport and New Zealanders, and I feel bad for the drivers, pit crews and sponsors.

@JCTK: They started at 10am I think and there was only 7 caution flags (yellow flags).

I'm talking in NASCAR language now lol

Go Skaife/Tander (#1 car) and Seton/Baird (#2).
I want to see them both finish well.
But I want the #2 win. Glenn Seton has never won a Bathurst race though he has made 25 starts there.

Good work Silverracer.
A more colourful version would be nice.

There have been a few Jeff Gordon #24 skins around, but I haven't seen one specifically like this.

Here's a picture to help.

I do not want the Chevy Monte Carlo lights on the front of the car.

maximum eye-candy is not very important right now, and won't be for quite some time. The devs need to figure out the final car models, physics and tracks.

I have never used less than 450 degrees of rotation on my G25, and that is my current setting.
OzRacing - team closure

I was hoping that I didn't have to make this thread , but as the name says, OzRacing has had to close down. At the last minute before a league race last night, two of our drivers (Matt Lopino and N23) left without prior notice. After these two drivers left, I couldn't see any point in struggling to keep this team alive. The most drivers we have had was a total of 9 drivers. To all of our former drivers, I wish you all the best of luck . Hopefully we will get picked up by other teams, but time will tell.

Quote from [RF]-art555 :Actually, its not that hard to do, all you need is the S-S wheel you want (any RL wheel can fit) with drilled wholes, deattaching G25s wheel is quite easy, you'll only loose two red buttons if you do change

There was the M3 Challenge, which first prize included a G25 with a BMW F1 style wheel. With working LCD too.

If you want all these buttons and stuff for these functions, either buy the Frex Wheel-Adapter for the SimWheel or Logitech DFP, or buy a control panel button box.
