Here is the fix that will make it work for you.

Re download LFS from lfs.net website

Register on the LFS website as well, always helps where u downloaded LFS

When you run LFS for the first time, put in your username and password that you created on the step above and activate.

Enjoy Blackwood as this is the only track you are allowed unless you are an S2 LICENSE HOLDER.....and as you clearly stated, your are not. Your Friend is, but YOU ARE NOT and when you signed up, as stated above, you agreed, or in fact your friend did.

Hack it, drive it, do what ever you want, but unless you are honest...don't come here asking for help, as we won't help.

Hi guys

Is there a way or setting that you may know of, or making these equal in a race at all?

Cheers

I have just found this chap on youtube and thought I would share this with you all, if you haven't see it before.......

Cornel Hrisca-Munn was born a tiny scrap of a thing in December 1991 with no forearms and a severely deformed right leg. His mother screamed in horror when she saw him. A doctor gave him days to live, so no birth certificate was ever issued. Instead, even before his first feed, he was taken 35 miles away to an institution in the Romanian countryside. There he was dumped in a battered metal cot in a bare room crammed full of other unwanted or disabled babies, given a little milk and left to die.

When he was seven months old, a visiting doctor noticed the bright-eyed, feisty infant in need of medical treatment. He appealed to a British woman who, by chance, was there as part of an aid project, for help. Today he is midway through his first term at Keble College, Oxford, studying philosophy and theology.

So now for the proof, check these out......

Just found this one...OMG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2-7qPwwHd0 ......Late addition
(My cousin is drummer in a band, and a bloody good one, and even he says, the timing on this is difficult and very well executed)

Just amazing guy

Quote from PeterN :SoftTH does not stretch the image, it allows a larger image to be rendered and it should still be the correct aspect ratio. It looks to me as though your monitors are being used with a 4:3 resolution stretched on to 16:9.
Check the configuration of SoftTH.

Hmm cheers Peter, I will do.

Quote from Flame CZE :The view looks kind of stretched to me, especially in the FOX image (see the attachment). Is your resolution set properly?

Also the angle set to the side views seems to be a bit too much, as I can see e.g. the XFG dashboard is clearly skewed on the left side. Not sure if it's just the photo though...

Otherwise, it looks nice

Flame are you using 1 screen ( large ) or three monitors. Over 3 Monitors it will stretch it, as that is what SOFTTH does to give you the full surround picture...stretched

Depending on what side of the car you sit will depend on what side looks "skewed", i.e I sit on the right, so the left looks skewed, and visa versa if you sit on the left.

It might look more skewed as I have the monitors angled as well (desk not large enought to have 3 straight monitors) but then again, looking out of your own car window, is that straight either side ?

You cannot sit on the right or left, and perfectly place it in the middle of centre monitor, you either have to be left or right sided.

Hope this explains it

I sort of agree, but I also pose this question???

You are ment to be racing, so concentrating on the car in front and mirrors and cars around you....Why would you like a 3D interior and think, WOW those Dials look nice, where's my coffee cup holder, or blimey, this car has a fire extinguisher in it??

Why would you spend time looking around your "in car environment" when you should be doing the above

If you want full motion interiors then play Forza and you get to walk around the WHOLE CAR

Just saying

I used the Custom View and the Eye View that GAV pointed out to me (only appears when you are on track, not on the main menu screen under options) and was able to set the screen and it saved the changes.

Check out these stunning views......:jawdrop::woohoo:

BTW if anybody wants to know, I am using 3 x 20" LED 1600x900 AOC monitors and SoftTH

Quote from GAVD999 :Ah sorry Fordie, as I say its been a while since i messed about with custom views and I don't have the pleasure of a 3 screen setup (looks great btw)

The only other thing i can think of is click Eye view on the custom view tab next to the xyz sliders

Eye view, OMG makes sence, let me give that a bash

Cheers Gav

Quote from k_badam :does that mean its 21 racing or just Triple 7 Racing

Its Triple 7 Racing, i.e 777 as Triple 8 Racing was taken LOL, and three 7's are lucky in cards, so why not on the race track

Quote from GAVD999 :You have the "Y offset" set to the middle of the car in custom where as you it set to the right in default.

Yeah I know GAV but look at the FIGURES as the settings, now where the bar is, it's set the same mate

Been working away so have been unable to update this thread, but please see photo's I have taken.

It is of the settings, In Car and Custom.

Now my question is, if I set the same settings for both, how comes the view is so different You need to see the photo's to see what I mean.

Scawen, maybe I need your help here. I have three monitors and I can get the perfect view but have to adjust to each car, but it doesn't save the adjustments I make, so everytime I load LFS, and change cars, I have to adjust again.

Anyway guys, see attached and see what you think, zoom in to see the settings

Cheers

Quote from BlueFlame :Well I do think LFS is on the decline and it will never grow again, but what we can do in the meantime is keep it level for as long as possible and drag it out.

I disagree.....It's only on the decline because of the update side of things, but since Scawen posted his update about 3d and his reply to my thread, whether it directed or not, activity has increased, you only have to look at the stats on the forum........

I don't think we are "draggin" it out at all, Its just another push that the community want and because of the community we have, we are able to do this, otherwise, it would of been dead along time ago, so to the community

The community is built up by teams forming and joining together, which in turn keeps this a solid simulator that we all enjoy, so, BIG UP to all the teams that are still active and forming and becoming bigger. Hats off to you all, as I know its hard work, but we are all in for the long haul !!!

It is so great to see, after all this "LFS is doomed" threads, teams coming out and advertising that they are growing within LFS

Nice to see an "old" team back on the map

I feel Team Battles coming on once again
