UFR and XFR
Hi guys

Is there a way or setting that you may know of, or making these equal in a race at all?

Yes, remove one of those cars



because it is impossible to make equal two different cars, there is always a difference, but if you want to have a try, see top fastest time clocked in LFS World, and make some calculations about air restrictions or weight or so on.

You will have a hard time getting them equal on all tracks, but giving the UFR 10-15kg will make things a little more even with the XFR being a bit faster on tracks with long enough straights.
Yep, no chance at all. UFR seems to be better in slower corners while XFR scores on straights and faster tracks.

But at the end of the day, the driver does the work. A talented driver will beat a "normal" driver with either car on every track. Same does the "normal" driver with the noob. Two "normal" drivers will compete well, as they fail from time to time and loose time, so the other may get closer even he's got the slower car.

You can also add 1% restriction to XFR , to slow it a little bit with his top speed. And add 5kg to the ufr, to slow him a bit in turns
Even on an open track like as4/as5 the UFR beats Xfr with nearly a 1s a lap. So the thing with long straight road to gain something with Xfr over Ufr aint true, that is if u look on wr laps.

And on NEC championship with these cars Ufr had somewhat 15kg on Ky3 and imo that killed it even in the hands of Troy and Eisboer.

Gl to make them two NGT´s somewhat even against one and another, just leave the Xfr alone and focus to slow down the Ufr. :P
I think they're both already balanced quite well. just like XRG vs XFG, comes down to the track, and ultimately the driver. but what pleases me the most is just like the XRG, the ufr is harder to drive than it's equal. Which makes the win all more rewarding.
The thing I never understood about Live for Speed is the crappy balance in the car classes. If they made up these classes, to be competent with eachother then why didn't they bother by taking their time and have them running just about the same laptimes? (Of course varying by the tracks). At TBO you have the FXO at the advantage by so really far, at NGT you have UFR raping everything and GTRs have nothing to do with balance. FZR's overpowerage is just too much to be true.
Think of it a little like the new USC's "balanced" Daytona Prototype and the LMPs
