I did some laps with these cars.
This is a first impression so i might be wrong.

XFR. lovely handling,new gearbox suits the car just fine.
BUT. compared to UFR it tends to me more willing to roll over.
IMO the CoG should be lowerd slightly on the XFR.lets say 5 more.
XFR imo has become the most "Flipwilling" car in this class.

The UFR is just glued to the track now and is very nice to push to the edge.

We use these cars in a cup so im pretty used to them.
and i used same setups as i use in Y,too notice the diffrens better.

anyone else share my opinion on this?
i will try to test more but this is as i said my first impression.

Great news Scawen.
Im pleased to see that u take your time to talk to the "people"
most of us"me included" wants a game that is complete in all aspects.
and if that takes 200 testpatches to clear out thats fine by me.

To lower the centre of gravity of the mentioned cars is just another great direction of the game.

And the Westhill update will keep me awake .
as mentioned..what is there to update besides maybe a WE2?(Dreaming:tilt

I had that same problem when i trie dto run Y24 with High res extrapack.
did a fresh install with only Y24 and that sorted the problem.

Question: i tried to chance cfg "MPR message block"

did put 1 instead of 0 but chatlines still accure.

or...if u leave pits etc wont be blocked..just normal chatting?

the biggest issue i had was that i couldnt get my brain to work so i had to record at half speed with fraps..now i corrected that misstake and i can now record at 50fps and 1680x1050 fraps set to halfsize.

well im babbeling away here..

i reserve myself for stupid post but:

did i understand right..chancing it correclty in advanced 3d settings/ Nvidia controlpanel dont chance AA or AF ingame?

i didnt read all posts..i just recogniced same problem i had..
sulution:
Go to nvidia controlpanel.advanced settings.
sett the overallperformance to low or medium(depending on were it is right now) then try again..if this helps go to advanced 3d settings and add LFS to the gamelist,configure LFS profile and make sure u dont run AA and AF ti high.then use "advanced 3d settings as default..

" vista uses a higher setting of AA and AF as standard and this tends to overload your graficsettings in LFS."

i had same problem with my "framecomputer" that i use for simracing only. p4 3,2ghz,GF6800gt, had 50 solid fps with XP but after installing a fresh Vista home premium it dropped to 15-20 fps.
so i just went crasy on everything and found that this was the problem..

in Rfactor i use a diffrent profile since the steering isnt realy the same as LFS..
GTR2 has its own profile aswell. so i say as u..wy r people so afraid of the profiler? its good when u know how to use it.

and about setting up the wheel without profiler it has been explained...controlpanel etc.etc. that will work just as good as profiler..or even better since u dont need the profiler runnin in the background.

well..i got ingured in work..my back got dislokated disks..so when i was home and trying to heal myself i found LFS on internet when i was googling for a cargame..

since LFS that time was the only game i could drive with a mouse thats what i stuck to..

the first 2 months i was lying in a hackysack ..playing lfs 24/7 even got in a team
then my favorit was oval racing since it was easyier with mouse..i even went thru some 300 lappers...
LFS got me thru the hardest time in my life..

sry for bad spelling

now i use a modified playset,g25, and cant stay away from the game more than a few days..
LFS imo is the best Simracinggame there is..not eyecandy but more realistic.

WEll,with patches comes relearning.

as the big patch with the BF1..
that made me stop racing LFS for a few months..
i just couldn`t stand the physikchances they made that time..

but now i love it..i just needed a break from it so i colud get back from "75%" skilllevel..

i dont find the same problems as u with blackwood.

if its any comfort..go for a spin with Race07..that makes u like the surface in LFS
