I'd suggest you getting U2312HM instead. It's almost 2x cheaper, but only 1 inch smaller and resolution is almost same (1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200).

..and if you accidentally join a server with tweak on, you'll just get a temporary 12 hour ban from that server. (if it's CPW-causing tweak. for OOS ones, you won't even get server ban).

Are you sure by VPN you mean actual VPN?

VPN shouldn't be supported by any software, all VPN support is done by your OS.

It's "degrading" only if you're going it wrong (e.g. disabling built-in disk defragmenter, installing shitty "tune up" apps, "cleaning" registry or doing any other dumb stuff). Otherwise it's not.
My install is from 2009 and it's still as fast as it was.
