Well it's a very good mod cause it shows others that drivers is a retard and tells them to be very cautious when they're driving near you.

Quote from (-Mark-) :Just looking at these..and I'm confused, maybe i'm misunderstanding buuut,

If you mean maps by "Objects created in a certain area on the original SA Map", then you can have that on SA:MP.

There are plenty of gamemodes being created for SA:MP, maybe not from the box, but that doesnt make them any less quality

Also, since when doesnt SA:MP have weather changing and vehicle modding?

ON TOPIC: I'm still interested in seeing whether GTA V will be just Los Santos or all of San Andreas.

By maps I mean really custom maps..
see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPM7iIHFzRk&hd=1 as a example
Same with vehicle mods - server can stream custom vehicles to player, ones that are not in game.

Also with "official gamemodes" I meant gamemodes that come out-of-the-box and don't need to be downloaded.

Quote from ATHome :Nope, the 3 pics could be nearer to the truth than 12000 tests with high speed (read: far above the average) internet connections.

They'd be way more far from the truth if only people with crappiest connections ever made by human beings have posted their speed tests here.

Quote from ATHome :12000 test won't represent the real speed world-wide.

Yeah, but they do represent it more than 3.5 speedtest pics posted in this thread, don't they?

It's time to reinstall Windows.

Quote from DeKo :So you're happy paying £50 for a few new maps?

That's not nearly as bad as playing for $350 for a 5 years old piece of hardware

Is there something you're trying to overcompensate?

Quote from S3ANPukekoh3 :how long would an 8gb download take for us regular people who have less than 1mb/s internet? tbh i'd at least want to play the game the same day i bought it.

According to speedtest.net, average internet speed = 41.55 mbit/s, so I have no idea what you're complaining about.

Quote from daveb948576 :seems to be ok now but i can't get into the ones i've already been banned from, i'll give it some time and then try again.

The CPW bans last 12 hours (or 24? can't remember, sorry), so soon you'll be able to back into those servers again

Have you ever read license agreements?
You don't own anything except for a piece of plastic anyways.

Quote from AstroBoy :That looks all well and good but, does it auto DL all the mods you need or do you have to do it??

Yes, it does auto DL all the mods by default.

Quote from S3ANPukekoh3 :how??

Easy.
  • Better synchronization
  • More max. players slots per server
  • Proper GUI system
  • Ability (for servers) to create completely custom maps (SA:MP is limited to GTA:SA's built in ones, and few ones added by SA:MP team)
  • Servers can have custom:
    • Vehicles
    • Objects
    • Textures
    • Sounds
  • Presence of official map editor
  • There are proper (complete, not just a 'example gamemode' like in SA:MP) official gamemodes out of the box
  • Open source code
  • Development is active, number of developers continuously increases
  • Anti-stealing protection of server resources (e.g. custom maps)
  • Acts more like original GTA:SA in few aspects, e.g. weather changes, vehicle modding and such
  • NPC's are fully functional and can be controlled by scripts, not only by pre-recorded path
But I guess all those things are irrelevant to some people.. because MTA:SA has a working anticheat.
