Quote from harjun :Most farmers have vogues, and the car is used for Towing or image, not a Sporty car.

Wait...wut? I've never ever seen a farmer with any form of range rover. Landies yes, but not the fancy pants version. We use a hilux on the farm, and I bet it would tow 3 times more than your range rover (While also doing at least twice your MPG)

Also, you don't need a range rover to pull a car and trailer. God, if it's on road the whole way I bet my Yaris would pull it

Quote from mrodgers :If that's the way you want to go....

Baseball is wrong. Man with four balls can not walk.

Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways, going to Bangkok.

Man who fight with wife all day, gets no piece at night.

Oral sex make one's whole day, but anal sex make one's hole weak.

Foolish man give wife grand piano. Wise man give wife upright organ.

Panties not best thing on earth, but next to it.

Man with hole in pants feel cocky all day

This reminded me to re-install UT2004 again I haven't tried UT3 yet, but I think the whole series is very similar from what I've seen and heard. So I'll stick with UT2004

I love the way Schumi is standing 'suspiciously' off to one side. Like he had something to do with it

Quick-format the disk, then use PhotoRec to recover JPGs. I've used it before on a card that had been quick-formatted on the camera, and it recovered everything taken in the last ~6 months

Quote from Shadowww :dougie, do you want NFS-like AI's which can go up to 600 km/h?

In other games AIs are fast because they have more grip/wider tyres/etc than player.

I never said faster. I said non-lethal. I want to be able to practise with a field of AI that can react reasonably well to the track, instead of AI with fancy helmets

I'd much rather see an update to AI behaviour first. AI are designed as a training aid first and foremost, and having AI that don't try and assassinate you at every corner is more important than an AI wearing a different helmet IMO

I agree dual monitors doesn't look as good as triple, but it still is an improvement on one. Especially if one monitor is widescreen, as this can overcome the "big line down the centre of the windshield" issue quite well. Although there are far better uses for the second monitor IMO

Quote from Chrisuu01 :@topic:I sometimes at the realy twisty bits hold the wheel with 1 hand becaus of the need to shift i find thios to give the car greater stability somwhow when driving one handed.

I found this was the case in RBR especially, pumping up the FFB drastically seemed to fix that though

In task manager, right click the process you want to set, and click thread affinity. That'll let you select the core(s) the process will run on. Very handy to be able to run 4x LFS' on quad core with almost no slowdown

Actually I meant move the PC down to the router Just move it down and try and play for a little while, you don't have to set up any fancy desks. You don't even need to plug in a wheel, just sit on track in a cruise server or something

54Mbps is your wi-fi adaptor's speed, not your internet speed

If you're being disconnected from most LFS servers, it's not LFS' fault. It's either down to poor wireless, poor internet speeds or poor ISP routing. If you can move your PC to the router and connect with ethernet, and try and race, see does it still disconnect you. That should see is it the wireless at fault.

Our last ISP had 3Mbps connection with us, yet I couldn't hold a connection for more than 30 seconds on any server, using ethernet straight from the modem

@Stefani and other wireless haters: Wireless is not a problem. I'm a good 30m away from my router, going through 4 solid concrete walls and passing through a kitchen full of appliances. Yet I can play LFS just fine, and get the exact same download speed as the PC we have connected to the router with ethernet

Quote from Shadowww :It is for downloaded 1024 skins (using credits 'n' shit).

But skins_x is for lo-res downloaded skins, where I can place any lo-res JPG and it'll work. Skins_y should work then for hi-res
