Maybe it's a hint by Kaz about motorbikes in GT6....

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/ ... mo-6s-director-talks.aspx

Quote :Will Tourist Trophy return for GT 6?
I can't say no. [Laughter]

----

Quote from LVracerGT :Here's a video I took while I was at Silverstone for GT Academy. If you look closely you can see how the car reacts during weight transitions and you can definitely feel it through the wheel. The physics on this build were 10x better than even the GT Academy demo. Enjoy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?f ... mbedded&v=y2NG1AQSeng

Quote :Yes, it was on the Thrustmaster T500. That build of GT6 was some of the best physics I have experienced. The dynamics of the car feel completely new. If you watch closely in that video at 2:34 when the car transitions during the switchback you can actually see the body roll go from one side to the other and you can see the suspension squat or "plant" before rebounding and stabilizing.

The car actually felt heavy through the wheel. Even though that run was relatively smooth, I felt like I was wrestling the car the whole time. But when I was in the GT86 for example, it was much easier to throw the car and it felt more responsive. In other words, heavier cars feel heavy but in an entirely new way with the way weight transition and suspension is modeled.

That run was also on Comfort Hards, and man let me tell you how good the new tire physics feel. The forward bite is so much better, it no longer feels like you're on ice. The grip loss when the car gets sideways feels amazing. One of the coolest things was being out on track during the GT Academy and going back into racecamp and practicing techniques you just learned and having it feel near identical.

edit - first Bathurst gameplay at Expo in Sydney

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... p;feature=player_embedded

Quote :It's really hard to give a solid answer without having a racing background and only having two nervous laps under my belt. If you look over at my YT channel there is a video of my driving it in my normal road car, I'll tell you the track feels a lot bigger when you're on it.

But that is highly likely a product of me driving it in a mid-size Hyundai at 60 km/h rather than a GT3 car at 100. I've raced Bathurst on rFactor, GRiD, Project CARS and Simbin's 'RaceRoom' game and I'll say that Polyphony's version is easily better than rFactor's and GRiD's.. and I'm going to say it beats Simbin's and CARS's too. The attention to detail of the scenery and landmarks (as someone who has visited the track multiple times in real life) and even most of the signage is spot on and the road-side buildings look like they've been given the same love and care as those at Silverstone.

Mt. Panorama is a public road and therefore has houses and farms dotted along it, and I'm not entirely sure those are present but I doubt even iRacing will be able to include things like that.

The big drop at Skyline where the track starts to go downhill again is scary as hell, as it should be. Even going down that thing at legal-speed is unnerving.

Quote from Matrixi :Christ, there's so much children playing online. And generic console multiplayer retards.

I had robbed a couple liquor stores getting around 1,8K from each, finished a 3K mission and sold a stolen 7-series bimmer for 8K, was carrying almost 15K worth of cash with me after all that. So I started rushing towards the nearest ATM and just as I arrive there some kid starts following me around with guns blazing, so I had to get rid of him so I wouldn't lose all that money. As trying to drive and shoot from a car at the same time is nearly impossible with a gamepad, it took almost 10 minutes of driving throughout the city and mountain roads to get the dude off my back and my money safely in to the bank.

Can't really trust any other players out there because of these asshats, it's a shame. I hope the PC multiplayer will have more mature players...

Pay the $100 for Passive mode - problem solved
You get it by holding down the select button on the PS3 - and I think "back" on Xbox

The bad guys always show on your radar in Online, even if you never saw them.
Even story mode doesn't work like that...

Anyway if you have trouble getting on, do the online stuff solo, you can at least get the initial stuff alone and level up a bit

Quote from BlueFlame :I'm talking with just a car found on the street. Ram it into another car or a wall head on and at most you get a loose bumper or a smashed headlight.

Depends on the car, but I get extensive damage, bonnet flies off, engine exposed, wheels and axels ripped off etc
PS3 version

Haven't had that.

Annoying thing is how sometimes pedestrians will disappear when you turn your back :/

One day GTA or some other game will have a real living and breathing city using agents

some new info

http://nzgamer.com/features/12 ... -6-behind-the-scenes.html

Quote :Michael Grassi is the Head of Motorsport Sales and Technical Support at KW Automotive GmbH, a manufacturer of high end suspension systems that will feature in Gran Turismo 6. Grassi talked about the company’s philosophy - they don’t just sell a product, they sell a support service for that product - and how this will be translated into the game. Players will be able to fine tune their suspension systems (as you’d expect from this series) with the company’s “7-post” test environment, allowing players to test tweak and re-test their car’s systems to get it just right before heading out to race. Clearly, the level of collaboration between Polyphony and automotive manufacturers goes a lot deeper than just licensing deals.

I guess they mean this doo dad

Stocks - competitors list

Spoiler'ish perhaps
http://imgur.com/3Xr2jSt

I've been investing in AirEmu, when it hits $3.60-3.80, and it usually goes back up to $4-5, and I sell, before it drops back down. Rinse and repeat.
The thing is AirEmu's prices have dropped by a massive amount from the start of the game - up till now I didn't think to check on Flyus's stocks, which must be the reason why AirEmu has dropped so low....
Maybe if I take out a Flyus plane, AirEmu might go back up?

Also - the tip is to leave the Assassination missions till the main quest is finished, so that you have a lot more cash to invest!
Then with all the cash buy as much Lifeinvader stock once they have bottomed out, and watch it shoot back up later

Well if you look at past games, it's always been about 6-7 months for the PC version to land

I ordered one of the racing bicycles from a website I searched in Eyefinder
And it was delivered to my garage (not safehouse)

Damn it's fast when you pump the "X" button, I can overtake cars at city speeds!
I figured for exploring, a bicycle is the way to go, plus I need to train a bit for when I enter a Triathlon

Ughh spoilers!!!

Funny - seems like every NPC has a Bleeter presence. Things you do in the gameworld will get Bleet or two if witnessed by that NPC!
ie when I was running around in my underwear, it got an entry from the chick who I said hi too

See a Bleet about a security company getting a contract from Los Santos at #BawSaq
A pretty obvious stock tip

edit -

LOL, I took over a bus and went on a traffic crashing rampage, to jack up the shares I bought in Angry Insurance.... then I parked it on the freeway to block all lanes one side and big jam formed.
I then hopped out and jacked a big rig truck, but I ran over something and it exploded?! I got wasted, and so respawned at the hospital.

As I was walking to the road I saw a cute chick walking down the street and I interacted with her and she sounded upset and went on about a big traffic jam on the freeway and how she was late for her hairdresser's appointment! :dopey:

I'm telling ya, buy some Ammu-Nation shares. I bought $650K worth with Michael, yesterday, and as of now it's up 1.79%

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/bawsaq

Making me $11+K richer. It will continue upwards for sure
Same for Los Santos Customs, but the price per share is already ridiculous!

Also, buy some insurance company shares, and go crash cars for a few minutes and observe

Quote from dawesdust_12 :No. It was fairly random actually. I bought a bunch of something random. Came back and it had made me 100,000

Damn lucky then

Well when you can influence the results, it's more of a sure thing.

Quote :Stock Tip:

Check the Bleeter site often, at least one a day, for clues to movements in the market.

I picked up Merryweather (MER) after seeing a Bleet and within two days its turned a profit. Closing in on 10% now after a week.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :I just made 100,000 as Franklin on the stock market.

Was sweet.

Did you do it after an assasination?

I did, I bought tons of Debonaire shares, and saw my money go from $200K to over $300k, but I sold early....

It was some Russian dude who make that money, he had a video out about, see if I can find it.
You need buy as much Lifeinvader stock as you can when it bottoms out

Man the mountain roads/area is beautiful - really nice driving it from hood view, but even better if it had higher framerate, and more GT like physics and steering wheel support
Plus the clearing rain sun/showers, I don't think I've seen that in a sandbox game till now

I dressed my Trevor in army camo and shaved side hairstyle - suits him

Just finished my first heist, Michael has an extra $700+k to spend now!

Someone made $300 million on stocks :o

There is a trick to it with the ingame market, vs the Bawsaq one which is player economy driven, invest in the competitor of the place your gonna rob
Also when your doing side quests some people give you stock tips...

Plus if you see some trucks carrying supplies of the companies on the road, if you take them out, it should effect prices....
And so on

I think the Ammu-Nation gun shop stocks on Bawsaq should be steady gainers, since everyone is going to buying a lot of guns and ammo
Once the servers are back online that is! Seems like it, based on the graph here
