Chrisuu01 - uploading a video of your track now a GT-R, pretty challanging to drive fast on, and it needs to be wider IMO
Noticed a bit of damage on my GT-R, from my off track excursions, even after the first hit, in Arcade mode time trial
Anyone with facebook want to score a Chromeline XJ13?
Play the app, and do 4 grudges, and you'll get a download code for it
EU version only though http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=135391
It's buggy but it worked, just play it 4 times as explained and then refresh after each time it freezes then go to profile and codes are on the right
Chrisuu01 - enable your created track for sharing with friends, otherwise I can't download it
Your just a bad manager
When he gets hot, he'll be running faster but be a lot more mistake prone, until he gets to certain level then the other stats start to matter more
Yeah that greatly dissappointed me
I wanted TT with better model.... The TT had better feeling nuances
Need a video capture car to record it
GT5 is supposed to have a Youtube uploader, but it's not active yet...
You can only share tracks with your PSN friends, within GT5. Only 1 track at a time as well
You just click on their profile within the game and on the track icon, if they have shared anything you can download it there.
I think you can host an online race with the track in your lounge with your friends.
Here is a track I made today using the Effiel circuit theme.
Someone wanted to know if you can do long straights? Well you sure can, but hilly straights
I used 5 sections, all with complexity of 0, and corner sharpness of 5.
Very angular high speed track, parts of it remind of Bathurst
Going for the Le Mans type feel.
Time of day was set at 2pm. I find it looks the best at this time of the day. GT5's lighting engine makes everything look too dark at other times or just weird.... Noon just looks really flat.
This theme doesn't look as good as the others. The grass is a bit pukey.
The pop up is annoying, and the track is too smooth, and lacking in cambers.
Demo'ed it with a race with Super GT cars in arcade mode. Will have to try it with LMPs. I called it Straight Ring
Tuned up a bit, added the aero parts, there are 2 choices. Painted it silver, and painted the wheels with a yellow colour, thought it would be a flat looking paint, but it turned out looking like the glossy Subaru gold wheels
Adjust the brake balance, it's defaulted to 5:5, set it to 5:3 and you'll be ok for most cars. You can map the RA menu functions to the controller or a control pad on port 1 if using a wheel to access this on track. Just make sure to press the PS3 button on the controller to wake it up. It tends to shut off after a while.
A newer one would be better for reliability. The chips got smaller and cooler over time.
I use an old 21 inch Sony CRT Trintron monitor for both PC and PS3. Have an XCM component to VGA unit to feed it.

How I earned my Roll Over Trophy - although not quite a full roll over
Crash and damage at level 8. I hear that damage gets worse as your A-Spec level goes up. Just a one make race against the AI.
First time I've noticed scuffs on the side of the car (after the first crash in the video)
Here is that Shelby Cobra cockpit vid as requested. Horns and wipers in action as well
On a custom 7+km course generator track I made using the Toscana Tarmac theme. Full course run starts at 2:25.
Stock Shelby Cobra, hard Sports tyres all round, no aids and ABS brakes. Brake bias adjusted to 5:3. Using a DFGT wheel.
Tricky car to drive on the limits!!
I only used 4-5 sections here from memory. Narrowest road width, corner sharpness at 0, course complexity varies between 8-10. I basicly started this at 0 and bump it up by 1 each time and observe the changes. If it looked complicated then I kept it
Could work well as a Targa tarmac rally stage, I haven't tried it like that yet.
Weird flickering stuff looks buggy....
Anyway you can grab it from my profile ingame, currently sharing it, PSN same as user name
Annoying that we can only share 1 track at a time
Yeah tap the centre button on the dial to bring up the RA menu. Press the +/- keys on the centre left of the wheel to choose a setting, turn the red dial to change it
Did you adjust the stock brake balance? with ABS off the 5:5 brake balance all cars have will make you flip around on braking. I normally set it to 5:3. Quite easy to do on track with the DFGT off course with the RA menu function
The PCIe and External one share the same page. the pics don't show it, but the PCIe version has a breakout cables that fit into the ports for connection. Plenty of vids on Youtube showing how to use it http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/
Since GT never modelled any brake fade, they didn't make any difference.
People have conducted detailed tests, hardly any difference between the brake upgrades
The braking power had more to do with tyre grip than anything else
I'm using a Blackmagic Intensity Pro Shuttle, you need a USB3 port for it, and X58a chipset motherboard. About $200AUD or so
There is a PCIe version which is fairly cheap and will run with any motherboard. But you have to use component out for the PS3, since HDMI has HDCP protection, all you get is a black screen. Also need a fairly fast PC to do the MJPEG compression or a RAID setup to capture uncompressed 720p footage.
Another alternative is the Hauppage HD PVR, that has a built in encoder chip so it doesn't need a good PC and it runs into a USB2 port.
Me messing around with a Lexus IS-F at Tsukuba. Man they really improved the sound of it compared to the Prologue version. Sounds like the real deal now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3RrFA4Xdl0
Some pics of my B-Spec controlled Integra
He won his first race when I ordered to overtake right off the grid to get into first place - that helps. Coasted for most of the laps to keep him cool, and then when the other cars started to pile on the pressure, picked it up for the win.
Some of the standard cars like the Ford GT look pretty good.
My PSN - if anybody wants to add me CoolColJ
And if I can copy GT5 saves across to my other account - GTP_CoolColJ
I've already added a few people here

Anyway I read that physics change difficult at higher levels?
Some cars are already hard to drive like the F40, but it's subtle things that I'm not sensing that the Time Trial had. We'll see.
That Cape Ring tracks is sweet - love it!
BTW I shared 2 course maker tracks of the Mount Aso theme - check it out in my GT5 profile - it's pretty cool to drive on, only 3 sections, but it's quite a long drive
The Lexus IS-F had a nice sound upgrade from the Prologue version
Sound exactly like in the PD vids and demo vids I posted before.
Quite like the real thing - wonder what it sounds like with with upgrades
And use the larger dynamic range sound options in the menu, much better isntead of the squashed audio you get with living room setting. This way loud cars really do sound loud vs a stock car
I finally got a copy, not the one ordered, just a copy from EBGames, which I will return when the one I ordered gets here.
Anyway, it does feel better with a controller than GT5:Prologue and the Time Trial, but the physics with a wheel don't feel as good as I remebered the Time Trial feeling, in general, but the sliding/drifting feels better. It feels more like Prologue felt with a wheel FFB wise - strange :/
And I think Prologue and the Time Trial actually looks better in some ways. Better shadows that's for sure, especially under the car, which kinda makes GT5 look more floaty. The field of view and shades of colour just feels so different on Suzuka vs the Prologue version. Too dark perhaps, not quite as clear looking or something. Just did a run on Suzuka, with dynamic weather has the track go from rain to sunshine.
Did a few Track Creator runs on the Mount Aso theme. That was pretty cool.
I dunno, some things were better in GT4, like the wheel shop. And the layout and overall look in Prologue was better.
I have the FFB at maximum and it still doesn't feel like it's enough...Whereas in the Time Trial, FFB at 5 was plenty! Something has changed, but not all good it seems...
Was hoping for GT5 to be like what I got in the Time Trial, but improved. I could play the TT back to back with iRacing and it still felt good, but just a little bit more numb in FFB. So in many ways I'm glad I did get a PS3 to experience the Time Trail to feel what might have been.
I'll see how things feel tommorrow after a good night's sleep.
