I'd like maybe the skyline (color/stripes) in fast and furious (not trying to copy) rx7 lights or so if you can.... like a fd or fc and the names like the cars, top it off with black at the bottom like if theres any trim end it there or so...)

Hey Devs, the wine problem just started with these patches, I've been using Z, I've tried all the others too...

I use FreeBSD and I used to keep up2date with wine versions, then I started using windows for work, back on FBSD again.

LFS Is stable and performance is decent, something with the barriers slow down lfs, can you also make the barriers more real instead of making you fly? I'm sure they could be fixed... no idea why it slows down lfs, doesnt it even on windows?

Anyways good job, want wait for vws, looks like some things were improved visually

I wish they never even said they were going to bring out a new car, before I bought lfs I understand why people said not too, the games great, very stable and graphics are pretty darn decent but man do we need some other ***ing cars, do the devs even play lfs daily? I can't even play weekly anymore the cars are all the same and it's become boring.

They should of just released the scirroco, it was largely disappointing to me and others to believe we'd have a nice christmas gift on lfs, thats when I understood what people were talking about prior.

We the people, lfs players understand this is their time, maybe they do it in their freetime, maybe they're always free getting hookers and such. I do not care, they made a good game, but I believe they should go somewhere with it. I did some math on the pricing and such, I don't know alot of the lfs history and then I did alil on the skins downloading and all this and it would cost a lot, I'd rather be suprised if the devs even made dough off LFS and I think they should switch up game for a bit take some vacation and make a few cars.

If there was more cars rolling out every few months, then a long pause, some more cars, the game would be much more appealing to others. I know many people who wont buy lfs due to lack of development.

I'd honestly pay for LFS as a subscription, I'd pay probably up to 20-40 monthly.

I don't come around here often but when the scirroco was announced and the threads were poping up I noticed them being closed, I don't understand why you'd want to close this thread, sure it'll pile up with bull but just don't come back, you close it and someones going to open another and it'll just keep happening till the scirroco is released.

Well I pray the dev's get some decent time off but it rather sucks we wait all this time for a production car, thats front wheel drive.

Good news LFS Devs

Live For Speed patch is working flawlessly on FreeBSD 7.1 the only issue I had in which I didn't on the normal Z? Is shadows appear rather funky.

When you drive around the shadow seems to fallow, I had this issue with wine 1,1,9,1 also but it was just a black line that would go around the car as you drove, shadows were fine. Now it's like theres 2 shadows AND the weird line if I recall.

No biggie though, I'm greatful enough you guys code good software that emulated flawlessly on freebsd :-)

I had the udp ip wrong.

It cause my vmware install to crash, I guess idk why I killed ALL vmware pids and it still wouldnt stard, I ran the config.pl thing and it fixed it. Then I posted this. I checked my nat.conf.0.back or whatever and I noticed the ip wrong.

I changed the new nat.conf properly and the dedi works.

Yes it worked on lfsworld, I can't do local network as it's a remote server

I got a linux host, debian.

I've tried iptables forwarding 63392 udp and tcp to the vmware host.

I've tried using vmware's NAT and forwarding the ports.

Using vmware's nat I was able to connect to my lfs host, but it errored saying could not get guest info.

What do I need to do? I really don't want to buy another ip address just for this win vps

I've been racing on ctra race 1 for a few months and I connected yesterday (My internet is now unstable though)

Anyways, it banned me for 30 days saying I removed people from the grid when I'd never do that!

Please give feedback and such, I've played LFS for years, just got my S2 license and this is my first attempt to replicate my 1991 Rx-7 .
The emboss on the front logo doesn't work right in-game, any tips to emboss things? Any other suggestions, if you have any logo's I can render like the front lights, etc please post them I want this skin to be complete and a overall job well done!

Edit: I've gotten the rear-text to emboss good, much easier to read, yet the front I can't. On s5 rx7's the front logo isnt black its the color as the bumper, light embossing, someone neeeds to guide me how to do this part :3

When I release the skin I'll include the rear lights file, as it adds to the look, I did NOT create it myself I found it for download here thus I'll release everything with the same rights besides that .dds file. The skin, give me credit for the base if you edit it using the PSD or Jpeg I'll provide, then give me secondary credits. As for the rear lights change I can't recall the author so don't give me credit nor yourself if you distribute it.
