Have been playing a little of the Quake live and htnk its really good for a web based game basicaly a scalled down Quake 3 works really well .

I have to say though Half Life owned it back in the day

Well My crummy British Ariel Atom hits 60 in 2.7 seconds and keeps going to 155 its only a little supercharged 2 litre but it does for me

Stuck at work till 5 but i have taken my camera with me probably have a fiddle with it after lunch as i know for sure i will not be busy . Going to take the dog out for a walk after work and see if i can get some good snaps will post back this evening if i get out with him and camera .

Thanks Don and Strobe, i have spoken to him about this and he has told me not to worrie its a small afair that will be taking place outdoors with a small selection of family and friends. I also told him i will refuse to do it if i dont feel up to it and he respects that .

It might be a good idea to set up a pendulum of some sort and practice trying to freeze motion that way. Sports photographers are brilliant at this, but it does take quite a bit of learning. I'm very unfamiliar with the D50 actually. What's its ISO range? My D1x only has ISO125-800, which is a tad limited really. I can boost it to 1600 but that is one hell of a faff through the custom settings menu. LOL yes it is a DSLR but its not mine its my Friends camera the "friend" who wants me to take pictures at his wedding!!!.

I have just done my first hdr image useing photomatix with a guide i found googling it sucked . Will check your guide out aswell . The main thing is i am having fun pissing about with it

You were using 1/80 for the first and 1/50 for the second. You need to be using around 1/200 or higher to freeze action.

Set your camera to sports mode on the mode dial and it should sort that out until you want to learn how to use aperture and shutter speed.

The 2 dog ones where taken on Auto i think i have also tryed the sports setting and i still get blurring?? maybe i was a bit shakey with the camera though.

Hi everyone how are we all today?

I would like to ask for some help regarding settings for camera and lenses for certain pictures.
I have a Nikon D50 and would like to know some settings for moving objects i am trying to take photos of (my choc lab puppy).
I have tryed taking some photos and everything comes out sharp except the dog . Could anyone help with either some tips here or maybe a few websites with info about diffrent photo situations that may help me or shed some light on how to work this dam thing.

A friend of mine wanted a mp3 player so i sent him in the direction of Creative and there zen 16gig. All i have to say is its very nice and works well does everything really and its the same size as a credit card and about 4mm thick. They also have a sd card slot for adding extra space . If i where you i would have a look at them m8 you also get a 32 gig version. Managed to get the 16 gig from play.com for £99.99 and free delivery

Hi i have just put together a new machine for myself and am having a slight problem. I have a AMD athlon 64 x2 4800+ socket am2 but its only showing up in system properties as a 3800+. Few years back I was out doing some shopping in the city and i stumbled apon £120 in £10 notes i was walking down a small allyway between 2 streets and it was spread out forabout 50 yards.

I use Avg but i have tryed Nod32 and i know of alot of people who use Nod32 and its probably the best antivirus spftware out there wont be long till i change over. Avg is more than capable of looking after your machine for free if you dont want to pay money though

I havent driven at any high speeds (need to pass my test). I have been passanger at 130mph in a friends Starlet Turbo and also 140 twice in 2 diffrent Rs Focuses. I must add though these where all on closed road/airfield

I was thinking about new brakes but the 6 pot calipers front and back and the 8 inch disk on front do the job 1 finger over the handlebars anyone :P:P.
