Older people are safer.

[smart, intelligent aoun]

Im young, and i know that young fellas are dangerous.. Teenagers apparently and proven to lack a part of the brain that doesnt really calculate risk factors nor health factors, which comes over aging.

When you think about it. A young person thinks of a great and fine idea and because its great and fine, they will almost automatically do that idea. An adult will think of the same idea, think it through and think the risks etc being involved, and end up bailing out on the idea. Its pretty much maturity, but teenagers actualy lack that thinking.

[/smart, intelligent aoun]

Hence when a teenager thinks its great to speed, all the kid is going to do is speed. Elderly are almost oppisite.

Think of it this way.

If you want to slipstream, stay behind the guy infront.

If you want to pass, obviously go around the guy infront.

So anyone tell me, was Petrov behind Lewis and following OR was he trying to pass him on the straight.

If Petrov was trying to get through on the straight, do you really think he is going to follow a driver weaving back and forth? Had Petrov stayed straight after the 1st or 2nd weave he would have been side to side and had the next turn.

He tried to slipstream, Lewis tried to break that, not block off Petrov. Some people make these drivers seem retarded. They both knew what was going on.

Or you could do some weeks is raw LFS only allowed, some weeks free to choose. Mix it up abit, because all i normally see too is LFS cars blended with photos..

Thats right.

There is skill and knowledge required when "pasting an lfs car onto a photo". Its not easy and i strugle to do it sometimes with other stuff and im quite experienced with photoshop.

Personally IMO, if done well, looks alot better than a screenshot from LFS. So its kinda, learn how to do that or make the best damn pic from a screenshot. IMO i think it should be 100% own work, but at the same time not quite.

Its just up to you or the community on what it should be, but i think it should be one or the other, not free to choose.

Could make it either free choice, half half as in LFS screenshot with lights etc added, or completely own work.

EDIT: Just looking at latest round, i perfer your work more than anyone elses Jo53phs. Other ones look great too, but i can appreciate yours 10x more as its a screenshot. We are in a screenshot forum here.

I know i sort-of just came into this discussion, but i agree with Intre 110%. Great racing by LH too, was kind of the only reason why i watched the race til the end. Massa fan, was dissapointed he couldnt push as much as Lewis did at the beginning. Great stuff by Petrov too, taking on Lewis.

Clearly Lewis wasnt ment to do what he was doing. But if he got a DT, that would have been stupid. It wasnt mid corner or close to the corner and there was no contact. Petrov still had a small chance to pass on the turn, and in the end, why would you want to be 'neat and tidy' for your opponent? Give as little space as possible in a fair and decent conduct, make it hard for the opponent. I swear there are too many robots on the field these days. The more i think about it, Lewis didnt even need a warning, didnt even deserve that, only deserved it because the rules are the rules and you must follow the rules, but on say 'racing morals', Lewis was fine.

Its been a real long time since ive used Photoshop, but i think ill give this round a try. Looks like fun.

Just a question. I noticed on the OP that it says to make it as realistic as possible. Are colour variations etc allowed (like the CMR example with the greenish background) or does it have to look like a realistic shot, realistic colours etc.

thanks.

Ive also had a dream once where i was on my ceiling looking down at my body asleep. It was a weird and intense dream and i buckled when i woke up. I litrally felt my stomach drop and felt like i was falling when i woke up. Its like i was floating aboving my body and i dropped down to my body.

It's one of those things that feel that bloody real that you think its acutally happening. But its a dream i guess.

Bawbag has a respectable opinion. I dont see the point in discussing it as this is the wrong thread to do so. Some people are grown up thinking that something like that could be wrong. At the same time, some people have been taught that its wrong, or havent seen nature take place right in front of them, or not enough education. Others think its nature, others think its part of life, others think its survival.

Me personally, i couldnt give a shit about the bird getting eaten. Not because its nature, but because ive grown up seeing nature being alot more ..say.... screwed up. That birds death is minimal compared to what i have witnessed, and most likely what many others have witnessed.

Its pretty discusting seeing a shark, lion and croc attack/bite/eat a human being but you just cant press charges or do something about it. Its nature, its kind of.. "suck shit". What can you do?

My point is, some people have different opinions and feelings, and im sure you all know that theres no point discussing whos correct or incorrect in a funny picture thread.. and yes i know someone can reply BUT YOU ARE TOO!!, but.. im just stating something that might help the thread get back on track. Its slack for the bird to be put in that position, its nature for the bird to get eaten..

Tough luck, its both. In my opinion, all your points are valid, so if you want to discuss it, make a thread. I know ive perhaps never posted in a funny pic thread before, but i check this thread everytime im on this forum.

Afew weeks ago i slept at my mates house, as we had to pick my other mate up from the airport. I drempt that night that a good friend of mine was going to call me up because she had a bad nightmare, so i woke up instantly and within 10seconds, she called to say she had a bad nightmare.

I then went back to sleep and dreamed that my mates flight would come in delayed til the arvo instead early morning. I woke up right after that and the time was 9am, which ment we were running late. I woke my mate up in a rush and he told me flight was delayed and arives at 2pm.

Someone explain that one!!

I normally run at 1/4 tank or under. Makes me save fuel more and makes me think i have to make the fuel last as when i have a full tank, i dont worry about it and dont care how much throttle is used.

Quote from tristancliffe :Yes, let's make it into a spec series... They are always good to watch and last for years.

NOT!!!

F1 is about innovation, science and clever people beating less clever people. Gearboxes and engines should be unfrozen, the plank removed and a few simple broad regulations to limit the amount of aerofoil downforce. Oh, and get rid of hand operated clutches and paddleshifts. I know it seems archaic, but h-shift will improve the racing. A lot. And it's not like road cars benefit anymore (if they ever 'benefited' from F1 paddleshift ideas.

Ive been reading this thread lately and thought id share my two cents on my opinion about F1. Buddy, i spent about 20 hours then, writing a 100,000,000 word essay on my opinion (exageration) and almost hit post, but thought id check this page to see if anyone wrote anything similar. Your 1 paragraph pretty much summed up my whole opinion. Way to go!!! :@

Well said too, agree with the shifter etc, but more that F1 is about innovation, and clever people beating less clever people etc.

Quote from Intrepid :I know the details of driving a MAX fast, I've coached people in it who've gone on to winning races. Doesn't stop it being terrible.. it's just terrible

Explain in detail why its terrible.. prove me wrong (not being rude.. )

I know that the engine will bog if you slam on the throttle but thats because the carby is way too big for the engine.. hit it smooth and right and it goes smoothly and very well. I wont say its the best, or better then what you told me your running, but i think they are great, and need to be driven very well to avoid this "bad power delivery".
