well i'll be getting there at 13:40 (hopefully). That's the very earliest so hopefully there wont be any delays but the main part of the journey is about 3 hours so once i'm on that train there shouldn't be any problems until I get to milton Keynes which i think is only another 20 mins to Nrthampton.

So i'm just going straight to the place if i can find it

So, since this topic started I downloaded Opera and have been using it since until today.

It looked like Opera was a more complete package than FireFox so i decided to test run that first. So.....

Opera is a nice package. It looks and feels professional and has everything you need without the addition of extentions.

Mouse Gesturing is easy to use, tabbed browsing works well. You can even pause your downloads and start them again the next day which can be handy.

I tried the voice command extention thinking that this could be a useful addition to web browsing but it didn't really come in use at all. Sometimes I asked it to read out my e-mails whilst i searched the web for something but other than that it never came into play. It didn't work to badly, sometimes it didn't do what I wanted it to execute no matter how clearly I spoke. Defietly a thing to look out for the future though.

I found that Opera crashed more than IE. Sometimes I have no idea why, sometimes I would start downloading something, click on another tab and it would just freeze, which got a little irritating after 7 times. Luckily though Opera can bring back up all your webpages that you where browsing in an instant.

Opera has many other features like opening certain pages when you start Opera but for me this is useless.

So overall Opera isn't a bad package at all, in fact its pretty good. But a few hic-cups here and there can get a little irritating.

If you are thinking of changing to Opera then I would look at the features and see if you actually need half of them.

I would give Opera 7/10

Just installed FireFox now and i'm going to give this a try now. Tabbed browsing and mouse gesturing isn't working instantly so looks like i'll have to look around. Shame it isn't like Opera where everything is ready to go.

I havn't experienced that for a while, but a few mins ago it just happened. On SQ Classic I was chasing the leader (was must faster than him) and had just lapped someone. They followed down the straight, I braked for the hairpin, they never.

Nothing you can do about it, i just either quit or start again.

Shame really because it spoils the game for the people who actually enjoying racing.

They just need to grow pubes and get a life.

Right, can't remember is this has been said before and most people will have probably come across this.

Its not so much of a bug but its extremly irritating.

As you know, pit limiter is mapped to 'l' even if you map it to another button.

So when typing during a race, down a main straight, and the last letter of a word is 'l' e.g awful and press enter, the pit limiter comes on !

Catches me out sometimes and is annoying during when online.

yes i've seen minicooper on a server using the 4sr team skin and then going into a race and wrecking everyone and the first corner.

i asked him repeatedly to remove the skin but he just ignore my request (what a supprise)

Unfortunatly, any game you go to will have some irrisponsible people and act childish all the time.

Unfortunatly there isn't much we can do about it apart from ignore them and maybe they'll get bored and give up.

Nope, been in a Sierra Cosworth with 400+ BHP and that went fshhhhhh quite a bit. Turbo was glowing, ahhh memories.

Also been in a Corrado V^ (Super Charged) great cars.

But i know what you mean with the sounds but for me now, i think they are more than acceptable.

Oh yes I can, theres that other great single seater called the FOX.

F1 car's, you have to be kidding. Imagine people who can't even start in the Fo8's and FOX's in an f1 car. Mayhem!

All i use to do in S1 was race the LX6 and mrt5 around blackwood, some of the best races i had. I was pretty quick to and i loved them.

Nowhere seems to have these servers up anymore

Right just checked my Train tickets, If i get the earliest train, 9:15 I should arrive in Northampton at 13:37. So I was wondering what time you guys where going for something to eat (so i know if to take something or not).

Should cost me around 47 quid but on the website it says, available for most journeys, but it should be ok.

just gotta sort the other things out now then i should be ok, hopefully.

The idea in theory isn't to get a faster lap time though, its to help with overtaking, giving them a few extra mph can make a good difference to an overtaking manouver but to a lap time, not much.

Ye, knew about this site a while ago but it isn't going to get going until 06. Might be worth a look then. But like its been said many other companies are going in the same direction. I believe plus.net are going the same way (without looking).

Hopefully they'll come soon but I still think the upload speed will be limited to a poor speed, no more than 1 mb/s I guess.
