Right I think I will phone my ISP up when I get back in from work. My only worry is, is that my dad likes to download the odd tune here and there, do you think this will be a problem.

It is a shame that LFS is affected by this problem. I would understand if it was going to use a lot of bandwidth would it be a big job for the Devs to do this? Or is it a simple case of just allocating a different port and just notifying all server uses etc?

I don't think it is unfortunatly. I think they were starting to upgrade people to 8mg a month or 2 back so maybe they are doing maintainance on the lines? Hopefully!

Right, I read through your posts (and thanks for that!) and I see that LFS uses the same ports as P2P software. My friend who is also on plus.net said his P2P has been running really slow, if at all. So it must be something to do with that!

So i don't really know what to do now. But thanxs for the help it's very much appreciated!

For the past few days now I have had high pings in LFS.

When I refresh the server list all the servers are above 500 and if I join a server I lag badly. All my other online games haven't been affected some I'm wondering if its LFS or my ISP.

I'm based in the UK and my ISP is plus.net, I've never had a problem with them before so I just don't know where to start!

Any help would be much appreciated.

I had a go on this a while ago and enjoyed myself. I got bad fps but I could see the that the physics where very good.

lol, even at £3.95 its still a good price.

If anyone knows more please tell because its easy to hook a pc up to a TV and if the stream rate is good and watchable then its a good thing!

The game is really fun actually. Obviously its not even close to becoming a sim but its still a good idea. If your dropping off some and you've got to wait for them, why not have a game of PGR3 with a real wheel and pedals?

I'm sure Netkar is going to have this, so it must be possible.

If it was going to be in LFS then you should be able to restart the engine manually numerous times but the Formula V8 only once or twice (if stalling is implemented)

anyway as said above someone did suggest it in the old forum and I think it would be a really fun thing to implement into the game.

I remember in S1 you would use a MRT5 as the ball, but now damage is implemented its not as easy to do. Still might be fun though.

do you have a manual clutch or an anologe clutch? Because you may have just needed to press this is to calibrate it.

Its happened to me a few times when I have been using manual clutch and the revs are much higher until you use the clutch.

But saying that you must have been changing gears and thus using the clutch. I'll try and look at the replay later on.

Working for an investment company have you ever thought of allowing share holders in? I don't mean right now but in the future when S3 gets close. If you get the right people it could be a big step but you definetly don't want major shareholders telling you what to do.

Sweet Video! Cars handles nicely and its very quick too. We have a hill climb like that in the UK (goodward?) it happens every year and they send Formula One cars along with other cars and bikes up the hill. They've just added a rally hill climb too. Great Fun
