Once upon a time...

The characteristic behaviour in the forum is dividing and labelling people as either fanboy or whiner. There is no commonsense and no tolerance toward different thoughts. And of course we observe some genuine fanboys and special whiners. We can't help alter egos. This is another issue. So let's go back to LFS.

1- Personally, I appreciate Scavier. A huge work and only 3 devs... This is a given.

2- Lack of comms: A big yes, for this. Scawen was sharing his family photos or moving house issues 2 years ago. But today.. Devs' attitude has totally changed. We can't oblige devs to say something.

3- The forum is a great treasury for devs at the same time. Ideas, suggestions, debates, brilliant add-ons, talented programmers, digital artists, and so on. But devs don't utilize this opportunity sufficiently.

4- Patch issue: I know that devs don't owe us and I read EULA. Legally devs are decision makers. They are free to cut off the updates. ATM, stopping patch releasing probably might be a disapointment reason, not accusing cause the devs.

PS: No update on the graph. From Patch Z to Patch Z25 takes 483 days (to Z28 511 days).

Rewinding is different issue. Maybe skipping is the best solution. I'm just thinking about the DVD chapter system. Shortly, chapters in DVD would be laps in LFS. Of course, if possible...

Let me state some points, lolzol. I agree with you partially on some topics. On the other hand, you have done 3 mistakes ATM;

1- The Thread Title: "The Truth about LFS S2": We don't seek the truth about LFS. Samples you have mentioned are related to drivers' behaviour. i.e think about the internet. It's a huge universe and we need internet although contains dark side such as viruses, frauds and etc. under her umbrella. Can we say that internet is an abusive matter completely? So, the LFS is not equal to something absolutely. There will be good racers and will be disrespectful drivers.

2- "Sorry but S2 was my WORST BUY EVER!!!!!" expression.. I'm in the opposite direction 100%.

3- "PS: all of you who are saying LFS is dying because of lack of patch..." Although I share your thought, I must confess that you choose overgeneralization way.

In line with your expressions, I concluded these. But the thread title and "worst buy ever" opinion are very irritating ATM. Try single player mod for a while, improve your skills; you will be ready for pro races.

Renamed FZR and XRR sounds fitted to XRT very well. BOV doesn't work in FZR sample. You may calibrate the files for more successful results.

OK, everything is clear now. Thanks for explanation. As you know, LFS is aiming low system computers. Therefore dev's priviliges are on the ground and cars. I don't know how much real weather effect via silverlining consumes CPU and RAM additionally. BTW we have an excellent example for realtime weather and 3D clouds modelling on IL'2 Sturmovik the sim specs cover low system requirements. Rain, snow, thunder, clear sky, and haze effects were modelled for 24 hours. But it is a flight sim and LFS is a racing sim. That's why I can't imagine devs emphasize the real sky modelling. Of course I want the ideal, but I am realistic for now. And I think that Lynce's RP is a gift in this circumstances.

So what? As Scawen stated before LFS' priority isn't wow effect. And I can't see the purpose of your criticism. Lynce is spending a lot of time and effort in order to make LFS more attractive. We need Lynce's appetite for LFS.

First of all, Congrats Lynce for award.

Especially black cars' reflections look like powder coated. Correct me, if I'm wrong. More polishing please.

In addition to this, is FPS a huge constraint on RP? Comparative data before and after RP will be useful.

Much appreciated for quick reply and detailed information. General outlook identifies that night mod is required too much hard work. In line with your talent and experience I can say that, the final result would be brilliant. On the other hand this appetizing mod shouldn't be a heavy burden to you. That's why it's up to you Lynce.

I recommend this to you because i think it is a really good film and shows who the mood of the people can change in extreme situations and how people make use of their advantage over others in a negative way imho.
