Do it yourself. You already released your first public skin so it should not be hard to do.

Quote from hurler :create one for private use?

I guess it's much harder to find somebody to make you a private skin than to ask for a skin that can be released to the public.

Quote from hurler :If you need some pictures pls let me know.

I let you know that anybody giving this a try will appreciate und make use of pictures you link to here. Of course they should be as big as possible and should cover the car from as many angles as possible.

Quote from macsy :A bit more presicely, please I once tried multiplying the tread a couple of times, lowering opacity and moving it a bit, but I don't know if that's the best way..

There's a tool called "smudge" in english. It looks like a pointing finger with which you would draw lines in the sand. You can smear things with it manually and you can adjust the size and "strength" of that brush.

Quote from macsy :How do you blur the tire tread correctly? (when the wheel is at an angle)

Manually.

Quote from Smashysmashy :It was done on Paint. Thanks for making me feel discouraged.

Every single Windows User is able to do something equally if not better looking with pain. What did you expect, being a skinning super star?

Quote from Klutch :Maybe in your country.

I quite like the fact that i don't have the sun cooking my flesh on a 40 degree day inside the car lol

Don't know... We hit 35-38°C two days a year at most.

Quote from Klutch :Thankfully you're allowed to tint your windows in aus then, eh?

I said "especially if..." but in general it just looks like a cheap bad boy's car with tinted windows, plus from inside you feel like sitting in a time machine outside it's 01:00pm but inside sun already set.^^

Tint is a no-go, too, especially if you live in a country where it is not allowed to tint any window needed for a 180° view so the result looks as stupid as this:

Quote from ACCAkut :my 1.0 Lupo does 130km/h (86mph) in 3rd and it tops out at 165km/h in 5th, turning ~5800rpm at limiter

Hmm... a friends Aygo (1.0L 3 cylinder, 68 PS) did 150 km/h (93 mph) in third gear and finally topped out at ~170 km/h (105 mph) at nearly the same revs in fourth with still the fifth gear to go. So he couldn't even get to the limiter in fourth gear. Unfortunatly the car has no rev counter.

Also a strange limiter you got in that Lupo. My Santana 1.6 (with an engine that was basically constructed in the very early seventies) has it's rated peak power (Nennleistung) at 5600 rpm. I would have guessed a more modern engine with much lower capacity would rev at least as high.

Quote from SEV7N :I read up a little, also the actions for turning blinkers on, starting the car, feet movement

It has been discussed many times and if you "read up a little" on these forums you would have found out. The problem is the game has no way to know where your hand is. The arm/hand could start to move only when you already shifted on your wheel, mouse or what ever and then it would take the animated driver some time until he has moved his hand to the gear lever to actually change the gear in the car. The time delay caused would not be appropriate for a simulation. The same goes for the pedals. The computer does not know where your right foot is if you neither apply throttle nor brake pressure.

Quote from Migz :I read that.
Which makes me think that my 4th and 5th gears are going to be extremely short.
Strange that 3 gears will get it up to 80. And then the last two only add another 15.

I'm afraid you won't be able to take that piece to the redline in fifth even though it may be possible in third gear.

Quote from Migz :Yup it's all original, its the Sporting Abarth version of the Seicento. Which comes with alloys, spoiler, side skirts, front & rear bumpers and a different interior.

Pretty quick as well, had 78ish MPH out of it in 3rd.

That doesn't exactly mean it will run 110 in 5th. However I lol'd.^^

Skin deleted, I don't need to read this shit.

Don't know what that sig has to do with this issue. Even if he was the closest friend you have it would be even more important to get his permission. Not offering the skin is the right thing until you get an answer from C40Z. :thumb3d:

At the moment: People who call themselves skinners, yet - aware of skinners etiquette - admit braking the rules and in the same post show a preview of an edited-without-permission-version of someones skin.
