The online racing simulator
So what is the decision? Is the rule staying strong?
Quote from racer hero :So what is the decision? Is the rule staying strong?

Well, we've made the rules not only to keep unexperienced drivers off track. There are also some german laws, we pay attention. So we have to stay straight.
But in fact, we don't see any possibilities to check the real age of each driver.

This is still no greencard for any unexperienced
wrecker to join the 24h. We'll have an eye on lap-times and may decide to remove single drivers from the event.
Today, we have an 'open train session'. So you are invited for:

* Server: 'DoP Grid1'
* Track: Aston Grand Touring
* TBO / LRF / N-GTR / GTR
* 19.00 CET [20.00 MEZ] Start
* 60 min Qualify
* open End 7 Laps Racing

Before starting the 24h Race on Jan. 24th here some important new informations. For an ‘express sign-in’ later Teams,
the sign-in ends with the qualifikation on 22th. After the qualify we would select the teams in two DoP-Grids. But read (may be all) the race-instructions first.
  • We would drive with a layout, so it is impossible to cut. Thx to [Speed Link] f!nal!
  • We have a number plate, you can download it in our Forum. Thx to n!Heiden
  • Please Upload your Teamskin, so you could get in time a skinpack.
  • For this race we will have a TS Server [85.25.131.117:8867]. It is recommended that your teams or driver are available there.
    Thx to -[BC]- Jan-Ole.
The ‘DoP’ is our litte thank-you for five years being part in the great international and german LFS Community.
For five Years -[BC]-, friendship, and best Racing-Sim we have had. Thx for so many Teams, which will be part of this 24h party.

Facts for the DoP are still in our Forum: www.bc-racing.de

and here: http://www.bc-racing.de/Burnou ... =Thread&threadID=2984
and on the

all the teams are here: http://www.bc-racing.de/Burnou ... /index.php?navigation=dop

Numberplate if you need or like:

here
a couple of questions:

Will traction control be allowed?

Will ABS be allowed in the unlikely case of the ABS patch going official?

What are the 2 red/green lights behind each driver for on the signup list?

You will be running 2 servers, how will these 2 servers be put together? Will NGTR run together with GTR? (we might want to like to change classes as there are only 2 teams in the LFR class, but it might depend on how the servers get arranged)
sooo, no one who can answer some simple questions??

Will ABS be allowed in the unlikely case of the ABS patch going official? Unlikely

What are the 2 red/green lights behind each driver for on the signup list? The drivers online status, green obviously online, red offline.

You will be running 2 servers, how will these 2 servers be put together? Will NGTR run together with GTR? (we might want to like to change classes as there are only 2 teams in the LFR class, but it might depend on how the servers get arranged)

Bold answers, can't answer some.

they apparently tell you whether the person is currently on- or offline in lfs. that´s what it says when you place your cursor on them. nothing really relevant though.

LfS set's most rules for the race. So traction control, ABS and every other official help provided by the game will be allowed.

We don't know yet how to split the grid. It will be done in the next days. And I know there will be some happy guys ans some unhappy ones.
Reminder: End of Qualify-Session
Keep in mind that qualify for the 24h-race will end in two days (22.01.2008).
The qualify-server will be open til the early morning of the 23rd but be sure to end your session as soon as possible.

Teams without at least one timed lap will be removed from the grid and are not allowed to start in saturday!
Experion Racing GTR team doesent seem to be on the list . Reason ?
Quote from jwardy :Experion Racing GTR team doesent seem to be on the list . Reason ?

Don't know! What is the LfS-World-Name you used to sign in?

You may also sign in again and create the team. If you're already signd in, you'd be removed from that team.
I dont know ill speak with the team manager who so said signed me in , ill get back to you when i know
Quote from jwardy :I dont know ill speak with the team manager who so said signed me in , ill get back to you when i know

People cannot 'sign you in', you need to go onto the server yourself to do it.
Huh !! right i do need to speak with team manager then ...
its gonna be a loooong race so, pls don't try to win in first corner.

karma, wish you all a good and clean race.

Hopefully all the drivers keep that in mind. The less accidents the more fun we will have
From now on, there are three days for you or your team to join this 24 hours event. Just with ending qualifying this thursday ends sign-in, too.TS Server for the teams (recommended!)
