On the other hand, it is perfectly possible to sit all day, every day, on top of another creature and not have the slightest thought about them whatsoever.

I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road

When one's expectations are reduced to zero, one really appreciates everything one does have

The old paradox: Can God make a stone so heavy that he can´t lift it?
-------
One ancinet Dark Lord

Equality is a lie…A myth to appease the masses. Simply look around and you will see the lie for what it is! There are those with power, those with the strength and will to lead. And there are those meant to follow—those incapable of anything but servitude and a meager, worthless existence.
"Equality is a perversion of the natural order!…It binds the strong to the weak. They [the weak] become anchors that drag the exceptional down to mediocrity. Individuals destined and deserving of greatness have it denied them. They [the strong] suffer for the sake of keeping them even with their inferiors.
"Equality is a chain, like obedience. Like fear or uncertainty or self doubt.

One cannot avoid the darkness unless one knows where it lies and the routes that lead to it

Quote from Inouva :The old paradox: Can God make a stone so heavy that he can´t lift it?

IMHO, if there is a god, he does not lift things. He just moves them from one place to another. To lift something you need to be a physical body. But if god not made of matter, then he cannot lift anything. Therefore he could just change the location of an object by moving the individual atoms each, but at so quick of a speed that it would appear to the human eye that it is being moved as a whole. If he was able to create something, then he can disassemble it, and re assemble it in another location.

Quote from Inouva :I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road

I agree completely. Predestination is false. Nothing is "meant to be." If there is a god, I do not believe that he controls every thing that happens. I think that maybe he could have created the planet, and then just sat back and watched what happened.
