The Process of Windows Live One Care is ok - I used for afew month to test it, but now i use another solution.

You can turn off Autostart Programs safely by

1. Pressing Windows + R

2. Type msconfig.exe + press Enter

3. Go to the "Systemstart"-Tab (Don´t know how it is called in a Englisch Windows)

Deactivate all Entrys except the ones from your Security Solution and reboot your PC.

Try and Error: Work normal wirh your PC. Does any Program gives you an error, go to the msconfig and reactivate the entry of the program.

!!!It is your own risk, but i do this by myself in this way!!!


If you (or anyone else) want some help with driver or something like this, it ist a good way to post the dxdiag.txt.

For this do the following:

1. Press Windows + R

2. Type dxdiag and press Enter

3. Klick on Yes or OK when you get the Security Question

4. At the Bottom of the Window you can find a Button called "Alle Informationen speichern" - I think it would be something like "Save all Information" ....

5. Save the Information at a place of your choice - maybe the desktop

6. Upload the file and post the Link or attach it at your post


In the file are stored information about Drivers and much more. Maybe delete information like the name of your PC or anything else, that you don´t want to tell other people.

In my time as Gamemaster of a MMORG we make a request for the dxdiag by every support-ticket. So we learn a little bit more about the user and his machine who send us the ticket.

(Wohooo - I must spend some work for my english ........ If someone found a big mistake in my description - please post it in the right way.)

after the first Race of the DTM, i plan to do some DTM Skins for the FXR.

I am new to do skins for LfS but i will try to do my best. I will started today, so i think that i can post my first try later at evening.

No, i also can´t find any changelog for the 7127. Some Sites wrote that there are no really big changes to see at the first look. The Build was compiled on 09th May.

I really like Windows 7 - i think it is better than Windows Vista. I have no Problems with my Applications, everyhing is running fine. I must only re-install Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and a demo of Adobe Premiere does not proper run.

It is fast in boot up till ready to work, operations like copy and paste from huge Files and a lot of small files seems to work better than in Vista, the hardware support is very nice and i really like the look and feel of it.

All the little things that was changed under the skin - the User Control, Network Support ...... - are very goo. And I like the new features that can be access by Win-Key + Arrow to switch the position of the Windows for example.

I am looking forward to the Release and hope that it wouldn´t be to expansive.

i have one question:

Since Last Week I try to make Skins for LfS. At Weekend I make a lot of skins for different cars, that i would apply to the AI - but I can't get at it.

What I have found in google was this:

and some Skin Packs for AI that are ready to use. So i see, that it needs a little bit more to make it work.

Does someone of you have done something like that? Is there maybe a tutorial that I didn´t find in google or here in the forum?

When i get it work, i write a tutorial in german and search someone who translate it to englisch.

i´m the new one!

I come from Germany near Bremen, 36 Years old and play different Racing Games since a few years.

At the last 8 month i was very engaged at Project Torque and LevelR, but I have the need for something new and in first line more realistic Racing Game.

At early Morning i tested LfS and now i look forward to the evening to switch my Demo to the LfS S2 and hope to build up my skills soon to drive some nice online races with you!
